Jessie Huff helped Augustana to a 2-0 record last weekend, recording one goal in each of the Vikings’ games against Minnesota State Moorhead and Minnesota, Crookston. Huff scored the first of five goals for Augustana against UMC, pushing in a free kick from Kate Timmons. She put in the third and final goal for the Vikings against MSUM with a penalty kick. Huff now has three goals on the season. She recorded five shots with four on goal in the pair of games.

Amanda Smith posted a 1-0-1 record this week in goal for Upper Iowa. Smith logged 200 minutes in the net allowing just one goal in her first six minutes of action, but then shutting the door for the remaining 194 minutes. Smith notched a shutout on Sunday against the #5 Mavericks of Minnesota State making 15 saves. The UIU goalie made 21 saves over the weekend as UIU defeated SMSU 3-1 and tied #5 MSU 0-0.
