- # 4 Jen Dixon (OH, 5-9, Sr., Brandon, Manitoba/Vincent Massey) recorded 49 total kills in the three matches this week moving her significantly closer to becoming the all-time kills leader in Minot State history. The senior standout is now just 48 kills away from sitting atop the list and with over half the season still to go, she’ll build a nice cushion between the record and second on the list.
- #14 Mallory Sall (OH, 6-0, Jr., Port Coquitlam, British Columbia/Riverside Secondary) produced back-to-back 20+ kill games in her first two games back from injury early in the week. Sall sported an impressive .409 hitting percentage in her first game back against U-Mary and went on to hit .268 and .258 in the following two games. Sall sits behind Dixon with the second-most kills on the team (117).
- #8 Tarah Dabovich (MH, 6-2, Jr., Phoenix, Ariz./North Canyon) has the third most kills (94) for the Beavers on the season but the junior is highly efficient when the opportunity for a kill arises. Dabovich’s .241 hitting percentage is good for the highest percentage on the team.

- The Minot State Beavers dealt with every kind of emotion in an action packed first week of NSIC competition. In the Beavers first game of the week against U-Mary (9/16) the Beavers pulled out a victory against the Marauders after losing to them earlier in the season at the MSU-Billings Invitational. Friday, Minot State fell victim to an eight consecutive point comeback in the fifth set against Winona State. The Beavers held the lead 14-8 in the final set. Another close loss ended the week for the Beavers at Upper Iowa on Saturday. While the score was 3-0, all three sets were within four points.
