NSIC Offensive Player of the Week
#15 Luke Papilion (QB, 6-5, 220, Jr., Denver, Colo. / Cherry Creek HS) - Sioux Falls
- Completed 20-of-33 passes for 306 yards and a career-best 6 passing touchdowns as USF recorded a 49-0 victory at CSP
- Threw touchdown passes to four different receivers, including three to Brady Rose
- His six passing touchdowns increased his league-high mark to 27 passing and 33 combined
- Ranks eighth nationally with 27 touchdown passes and sits third nationally in points responsible for (198)
- Surpassed 8,000 yards in career total offense by recording his 17th career 300-yard game in total offense
- Marks the second time this season he has been named NSIC Player of the Week (10/12/15)

NSIC Defensive Player of the Week
#36 Gunner Olszewski (DB, 6-0, 170, Fr., Alvin, Texas / Alvin HS) - Bemidji State

- Recorded career-high three interceptions in a 32-7 win at Minot State
- Set the 2015 NSIC season-high for interceptions in a game with three while tying all-time the BSU program record
- Ranks second in NSIC with six interceptions
- Led Beavers in tackles with eight, four solo and four assisted, including one tackle for a loss of six yards
- Helped preserve longest win streak in BSU program history at six games

NSIC Special Teams Player of the Week
#3 Jason Greenway (WR, 5-9, 203, Sr., Mitchell, S.D./Mitchell HS) - Augustana

- Returned a kickoff 96 yards for a touchdown in Saturday’s win 41-20 win over Upper Iowa
- He nearly broke two other returns later in the game, with returns of 30 and 27 yards
- He finished the game with 171 yards on four kick returns
- Returned a kickoff for a school record 100 yards and a touchdown in the season-opener at Bemidji State on Sept. 5
- He is tied with six other players in NCAA Division II with two kickoff return touchdowns in 2015
- Marks the second time this season he has been named NSIC Player of the Week (9/8/15)

- Jason Greenway returned a kickoff 96 yards for a touchdown in Saturday’s 41-20 win over Upper Iowa
- Kirby Hora led the team in tackles with a career-high 14 tackles, including 10 solo stops
- Augustana will play its final road game of the regular season this Saturday at Winona State
- Kickoff is set for 1 p.m. at Warrior Stadium
- Saturday’s game will be the 10th meeting between Augustana and Winona State all-time
- Augustana holds a one-game lead in the all-time series, winning five of the nine contests
- The Vikings defeated Winona State 33-8 last season at Kirkeby-Over Stadium, snapping a two-game losing streak to the Warriors
- Bemidji State moves to 6-3 after a 32-7 win at Minot State
- The Beavers won their sixth straight game, tying the longest streak in program history since doing so in 1941
- BSU held MSU to 169 total offensive yards and 35 yards rushing
- The Bemidji State “Gang Green” defense forced three turnovers and a safety in the win
- Freshman kicker Isaac Aanerud converted three field goals (37, 46, 27)
- Freshman Gunner Olszewski recorded three interceptions, leading to 10 BSU points
- The Golden Bears were shutout for the first time at Sea Foam Stadium since it opened in 2009 in a 49-0 loss to No. 10 USF
- The shutout snapped a 74-game streak as Concordia was last shutout in the 2009 season opener on the road at No. 3 UMD (56-0)
- The nation’s top returner, Alquawn Vickers continued to pile up return yards with 148 yards on eight touches (3-35 PR, 5-113 KR)
- Vickers surpassed 1,000 combined return yards and leads DII with 1,079 and is 10th in the country with an NSIC leading 169.0 all-purpose yards
- CSP hosts SMSU for senior day at noon, the Golden Bears are 10-8 all-time against the Mustangs winning last year 38-20 in Marshall
- CSP has won four of the last six meetings against SMSU
- Concordia is 2-3 at home against SMSU but the teams have never met at Sea Foam Stadium
- SMSU won the last meeting in St. Paul 38-28 at Griffin Stadium in 2008
- Adam Woroniecki ran 26 yards for the winning touchdown with 3:00 remaining in the Marauders 33-28 win over Minnesota Crookston
- Woroniecki ran for a career-high 162 yards on 26 carries
- Zach Graves scored three touchdowns and produced 195 yards of offense
- Graves carried 21 times for 149 yards and two scores and caught two passes for 46 yards and a touchdown
- First time a pair of Marauders runners each eclipsed the century mark since Oct. 29, 2011
- LB Austin Bolton led the Marauders with 14 tackles and LB Seth Walton added 11
- It’s Battle for the Paddle week when U-Mary visits MSU Moorhead on Saturday, Nov. 7
- The Marauders holds an 8-1 series lead over the Dragons, including a 52-45 win last year
- UMC quarterback Tra Hearns put together one of his best outings of the season, going 21-of-39 for 247 yards and three touchdowns.
- Dre Person rushed 16 times for 70 yards, putting together another strong rushing game
- Adam Connette had six catches for 83 yards and a touchdown and seven carries for 23 yards
- UMC fell just short 33-28 to U-Mary
- The Golden Eagles will host Minot State University at 1 p.m. Sat., Nov. 7
- UMD had its 24 game NSIC North Division winning streak snapped in a 23-15 loss at Northern State
- The Bulldogs’ last loss to an NSIC foe came back on Sept. 29, 2012, a 51-49 decision to host St. Cloud State
- Drew Bauer ran a career-high 28 times for 111 yards and both UMD touchdowns against NSU
- UMD will close out the road portion of its 2015 regular season schedule this Saturday with a visit to Bemidji State
- The Bulldogs have faced Bemidji State on more lifetime occasions (54) than all but two lifetime opponents
- UMD holds a commanding 43-10-1 lead in its  all-time series, which began back in 1931
- UMD has reeled off 13 straight wins at the Beavers’ expense since falling 35-26 on Oct. 23, 1999 in Bemidji, Minnesota
- MSU improved to 14-0 all-time against the Mustangs with a 55-17 win this past weekend
- Sophomore Nick Pieruccini threw a season-high 280 passing yards and three touchdowns
- Senior Joshua Gordon set an MSU career record of 60.5 tackles for loss this past weekend
- MSU posted 280 passing yards against SMSU, which were the most against a south division opponent this season
- The Mavericks wrap up their road schedule on Saturday as they take on #10 Sioux Falls. MSU is 3-1 all-time against the Cougars
- MSUM is looking to reach five wins in a season for the first time since 2006 when the Dragons went 6-5
- Michael Strand intercepted his third pass of the season on Saturday at St. Cloud State and now leads the Dragons in that category
- Sophomore receiver Damon Gibson is averaging an NSIC-best 24.3 yards per reception
- MSUM will face Mary on Saturday in the Battle for the Paddle
- A win over Mary would give MSUM a 3-2 mark at home this season
- Mary holds a 7-1 lead in the series; Dragons’ lone win was in 2013
- Sophomore defensive tackle Jake Busse leads MSUM with four tackles
- Minot State gave up 17 unanswered second-half points to fall 32-7 to Bemidji State in the home finale at Herb Parker Stadium
- Aaron James continued to have a solid senior year, finishing with 14 tackles, making 30 stops over his last two games
- Akkil Walker caught five passes for 68 yards, his second highest yardage total in his career
- David Alaniz caught his first career touchdown pass in the second quarter
- Trevin Swensen tied with James for the team lead with 14 tackles
- The Beavers finish the season on the road, taking on Minnesota Crookston Saturday
- NSU snapped an 11 game losing streak to Minnesota Duluth over the weekend, dating back to 2004, with a 23-15 defeat of the Bulldogs
- NSU is now 5-4 in the league and 5-0 in the NSIC North
- The Wolves took down the No. 18 team in the nation, holding them to their lowest output this season
- It was a day for the NSU defense led by Tyson Zemlicka with ten total tackles
- Zemlicka also added one sack for a total loss of six yards, a fumble return, a break-up, and an interception
- NSU looks to continue the streak next weekend traveling to St. Cloud State
- USF recorded a 49-0 win over Concordia St. Paul (1-8, 0-5 NSIC South) on Saturday in St. Paul
- Wins by USF and Minnesota State on Saturday sets up a top-10 and NSIC South first place showdown at Bob Young Field in Sioux Falls
- The Cougars, which stand 54-4 overall at Bob Young Field, are 0-3 all-time vs. MSU, including a 27-14 loss a year ago
- The Cougars lead the NSIC in scoring at 42.9 points per game (374 points) and is first in total offense at 501.4 yards per game
- USF also has allowed a NCAA DII low two sacks in nine games and not given up a sack in eight of nine games
- USF now has eight or more wins for the third time in four years in the NSIC and has recorded a 22nd consecutive winning record
- Sophomore Nate Huot caught a game-high eight passes for 104 yards and one touchdown in SMSU’s loss to Minnesota State
- It was Huot’s third 100-yard receiving game of the season and fifth of his career
- Huot now leads SMSU with 49 receptions for 662 yards and seven touchdowns
- SMSU punter Austin Wells booted a career-long 63-yard punt versus MSU
- SMSU quarterback Blake Gimbel had three interceptions on Saturday versus MSU. He entered the game with just two interceptions all season
- SMSU’s next victory would be its seventh, matching the 2013 team for the most victories in one season at the Division II (since 1995)
- Jameson Parsons’ 163 receiving yards in a 59-21 win over MSU Moorhead
- Parsons also caught two touchdowns in the game and has now scored multiple touchdowns in a game twice this season
- Jaden Huff led the team in rushing with 99 yards and two touchdowns
- Nate Meyer threw three touchdowns in the game and has a streak of five straight games with multiple passing touchdowns
- Vance Barnes’ 96-yard kick return touchdown was the team’s first of the season
- Jack Horter had a 51-yard interception return for a touchdown
- SCSU is now 35-23-2 all-time against MSU Moorhead, but have won nine straight games against the Dragons
- Upper Iowa fell to Augustana, 41-20, to drop to 5-4 on the year and 2-3 in the NSIC South Division
- The Peacocks trailed 31-3 at the break, but outplayed the Vikings in the second half 17-10
- Alex Wahl dominated on defense for UIU with 16 tackles including 10 solo stops and 2.5 tackles for loss
- Freshman Brent Lammers completed 33 of his 53 passes for 303 yards and one touchdown and added 71 yards and a score on 20 carries
- Jalen Amis continued his torrid pace for receptions with 9 grabs for 62 yards, while Jarred Edmonds pulled in 8 passes for 101 yards
- Upper Iowa will head to Wayne State College this Saturday with kick off at 1 p.m. 
- Wayne State suffered a 45-31 NSIC South Division loss at Winona State Saturday
- Senior running back Ryan Ludlow rushed for season-high 171 yards on 32 carries with three TD’s
- Ludlow has three straight 100-yard games and five for the season
- Senior Jon Davis led WSC defense with nine tackles and one fumble recovery
- Wayne State hosts Upper Iowa Saturday in 1 p.m. game at Cunningham Field
- The Wildcats hold a 5-4 lead in the all-time series, but Upper Iowa has won the last two meetings including 58-29 in Fayette last season
- WSU defeated Wayne State 45-31 Saturday in Winona
- Lorenzo Mitchell, Nick Margiotta and Elliott Cox each scored their first career touchdowns
- Jack Nelson was 20-for-30 for 336 yards and three touchdowns
- Ian Murray led the WSU defense with a career-high 14 tackles
- Carter McCauley set a WSU single-season record with his 14th made field goal
- WSU hosts Augustana Saturday at 1 p.m. Augie holds a 5-4 series lead
