NSIC Offensive Player of the Week
#22 Max Mickey (RB, 5-9, 185, Jr., Holden, Mo. / Holden HS)
Sioux Falls

- Had 15 carries for 156 yards and a career best four total touchdowns in a 48-28 win over SMSU
- He rushed for three scores and added an 11-yard touchdown reception
- His 54-yard score at the 13:30 mark of the third quarter extended USF’s lead to 24-14
- Has had at least 140 yards in five games with three outings of 178 or more yards
- Ranks first nationally in rushing yards per carry at 11.00
- Also leads the NSIC and ranks second in DII in both rushing yards (942) and rush yards per game (157.0)

NSIC Defensive Player of the Week
#8 Mike Imperiale (LB, 6-2, 233, Jr., Addison, Ill. / Addison Trail HS)
Winona State

- Recorded two interceptions in a 27-13 win at Upper Iowa
- Added a quarterback sack and 1.5 tackles for loss
- Finished with seven total tackles, including five solo
- Defended two passes

NSIC Special Teams Player of the Week
#90 Mason Hoffer (K, 5-10, 178, Fr., Minot, N.D. / Minot HS)
Bemidji State

- Sealed BSU’s 31-28 overtime victory over Northern State with first career field goal
- Converted a 38-yard field goal for the game-winning score in overtime
- Successfully kicked four extra point attempts
- Totaled seven of the Beavers’ 31 points on the day
 
Augustana University Vikings

Team Notes
-Augustana scored 17 points in the third quarter to pull away from Wayne State in a 44-31 road victory in NSIC South Division play on Saturday
-The Vikings led 20-17 at halftime before scoring on its first two possessions of the second half
-Augustana put up over 400 yards of offense for the sixth straight game, finishing with 480 yards, including 328 passing yards
-Augustana forced three turnovers on the afternoon, including an interception and two fumble recoveries
-Augustana’s defense also recorded a season-high four sacks in the win over the Wildcats

-Senior quarterback Trey Heid became Augustana’s all-time leading passer in Saturday’s win over Wayne State
-Heid passed for 310 yards and four touchdowns against the Wildcats giving him 9,728 passing yards for his career
-Heid also led the Vikings in rushing with 68 yards and a touchdown on nine carries
-Heid is now Augustana’s career leader in passing yards, passing touchdowns (85) and total offense (11,094)
-Matt Heller matched his career-high in receptions and yards against Wayne State on Saturday
-Heller hauled in nine passes for 169 yards and two scores
-Charlie Hayes also caught two touchdown passes on four catches. He finished with 41 receiving yards
-Kirby Hora led the Viking defense with nine tackles against the Wildcats

- Darius Chapes led the team with 126 combined yards, rushing for 89 yards on 19 attempts with a 14-yard TD run and his 37-yard reception in the first quarter set up a field goal
- Sam Johnson compiled nine tackles to hold his NSIC lead in tackles (10.6/game) and has made at least eight tackles in all five of his games played this year
- Jonas Schenderlein converted his first field goal attempt from 32 yards, hitting his first five of the season before missing from 55 yards off the cross bar, snapping a streak of seven straight FGM

- UMD, winners of five straight, will bring a 19-game home victory streak into this Saturday’s Homecoming clash with Northern State
- The Bulldogs are a perfect 28-0 lifetime against NSIC North Division competition at Malosky Stadium and have gone an incredible 59-1 against all NSIC opponents  (regular season and NCAA II playoffs) since Oct. 21, 2000
- In Saturday’s 38-7 triumph at Minot State, senior Drew Bauer became the top-rushing quarterback in Bulldog history
- Bauer, who is 35-7 as a starter since assuming that role in the 2013 season opener, has now run for 2,505 yards which is two more than his predecessor, Chase Vogler, did from 2009-12
- UMD registered eight sacks (two shy of the school single-game record) against Minot State and now have an NSIC-leading 26 on the season
- Senior wide out Beau Bofferding needs just three more receptions to become the 12th Bulldog to reach the 100-catch mark for a career

- Junior wide out Nate Ricci caught four passes for a game-high 106 yards and one touchdown (a 56-yarder) at Minot State and racked up 154 all-purpose yards
- Senior quarterback figured in on four touchdowns Saturday, throwing for three scores and running for another while completing 13 of 25 passes for 243 yards
- Senior inside linebacker Beau Bates was credited with a team-high seven tackles in Minot, including 3.5 for loss yardage

Team Notes
- The Mavericks have now won six straight games against Concordia-St. Paul
- With its homecoming victory over Concordia-St. Paul, MSU has now won six straight homecoming games dating back to the 2011 season
- Three Maverick quarterbacks, including senior Nick Pieruccini, senior Ricky Lloyd and freshman Ryan Schlichte each threw at least one touchdown pass against the Golden Bears
- Junior Erik Fuller and freshman Shane Zylstra each caught two touchdown passes in MSU’s win over Concordia-St. Paul
- Senior Virgil Hammond recorded 115 rushing yards vs. CSP, which marks the third time in his career he has rushed for more than 100 yards in a game. This is also the second time he has rushed for more than 100 yards against Concordia-St. Paul
- Senior Ruben Ibarra led the Maverick defense with 12 tackles against the Golden Bears

Team Notes
- MSUM improved to 3-3 overall and 1-1 in the NSIC North with 41-12 win over Minnesota Crookston
- The Dragons built 27-6 halftime lead and added two second-half scores to secure the win
- Junior Damon Gibson tied a single-game MSUM record with four touchdown receptions; he is the fourth Dragon to accomplish that feat
- The Dragons recorded a season-high eight sacks in game, led by Ryan Dahleen and Matthew Domek with two sacks apiece
- Abe Roehrich and Jerry Raye had interceptions as MSUM forced three turnovers
- MSUM held UMC to eight rushing yards on 44 attempts, which was a season-low for the defense

- WR Damon Gibson had four catches for 140 yards and four touchdowns, tying an MSUM single game record
- Senior QB Demetrius Carr threw for 162 yards and four scores and also rushed for 35 yards
- Sophomore RB Austin Stone rushed for 79 yards and a score on 13 carries.
- Senior DE Ryan Dahleen had eight tackles, including a team-high 3.5 for loss, to go with two sacks
- Freshman DE Miles Baggett had eight tackles, one sack, a forced fumble and 2.5 tackles for loss
- Junior LB Abe Roehrich had an interception and also added a recovery of an onside kick
- Sophomore LB Joe Rademacher had seven tackles and recovered a fumble

- Honored former wide receiver Chase Kimble in the pregame as Kimble returned to the field for the first time since suffering a spinal cord injury in the 2015 season finale at Duluth
- Donnell Vercher had a season-high 13 tackles including five solo stops and finished with two pass breakups on defense
- Trevin Swensen finished with 12 tackles, including two for a loss, a quarterback sack and a pass breakup
- Bryce Broome added a season-high 11 tackles

Team Notes
- The Wolves fell in their second overtime match-up of the season Saturday, as they were unable to convert on their overtime drive
- Northern had a chance to take the game prior to the overtime period, however BSU blocked the 37 yard field goal attempt by Nathan Shaw
- NSU tallied 439 yards of total offense, while the Beavers notched 385 and three for a season high 294 yards
- A costly interception in the end zone and nine penalties plagued the Wolves as they had the victory in their grasp
- Defensively the Wolves wrangled four interceptions and three sacks in the game
Top Performer(s)
-  Christian McAlvain tallied a season high 294 yards passing with two touchdowns, completing 19-of-37 passes with one interception
- McAlvain’s leading receiver was Taylor Houchin with 84 yards on five receptions, including a two point conversion
- Senior Conner Doherty broke the 2,000 career reception yard mark on his second catch of the day, and finished with a total of 2,056
- Nicholas Truen again led the Northern rushers with 81 total yards and two rushing touchdowns. The junior also grabbed one of the team’s two receiving scores
- Chad Stoterau led the Northern defense with eight tackles, including a sack, while Channing Barber held the Beaver’s leading receiver to just one catch in the game with four pass breakups

- No. 9 USF rolled up 670 yards in total offense, including 428 rushing, as the Cougars used a 31-14 second half run and picked up a 48-28 homecoming victory over SMSU at Bob Young Field
- USF rushed for 428 yards with Luke Papilion (122), Max Mickey (156) and Justin Fulks (140) all surpassing 100 yards rushing
- Marked the first time at the DII level that USF has had three players over 100 yards rushing
- Brady Rose had a career best 12 receptions for 119 yards
- Papilion had his 22nd  game with 300 yards or more (364) in total offense
- USF leads the NSIC and NCAA DII in total offense 585.0 yards per game and rushing offense with 371.6 yards per game
-  Junior Max Mickey ranks first nationally in rushing yards per carry at 11.00  and after going for 156 yards on 15 carries and four total TDs vs SMSU, ranks second in both rushing yards (942) and rush yards per game (157.0) in NCAA DII

- Max Mickey had 15 carries for 156 yards and four total TDs, including three TD runs (54, 1, 1) and an 11-yard TD reception
- For the 22nd time, Luke Papilion had 300 yards in total offense (364) and had 200 yards (242) and 100 yards rushing (122) for the seventh time in his career. He also surpassed 11K in total offense and 3K in rushing (3,036)
- Justin Fulks had 21 carries for 140 yards and two TDs while Brady Rose had 12 receptions for 119 yards

- Junior Blake Gimbel completed 27 of 40 passes for 248 yards and three touchdowns

- The Peacock defense allowed 20 points and 388 yards of total offense to the Warriors both well below their season averages despite a slew of injuries that shook up the middle line of defense for UIU
- UIU threw a pair of interceptions and turned the ball over on downs; each time inside the Warrior’s 25-yard line
- For the game, UIU's offense outgained their guests 428 to 388, but Winona State's return specialist Jake Balliu tallied 164 yards on 3 punt returns and 2 kick returns with longs of 40 on a punt and 66 on a kick

- Fellow defensive back Marcus McCoyregistered 7 tackles, while Zach Ries,Isaac Freese and Eric Munozeach made 6 stops
