NSIC North Division Player of the Week
#42 Drew Sannes (F, 6-3, Jr., Hawley, Minn. / Hawley HS)
MSU Moorhead

- Averaged 24.0 points and 10.5 rebounds in a pair of Dragon wins
- Scored a career-high 32 points and added 15 rebounds in a 82-59 win over UMary on Friday
- Recorded her fifth straight double-double
- Followed with 16 points and six rebounds in a 57-46 win over Minot State
- Shot 62.5 percent from the field on 15-of-24 attempts, and also hit 87.5 percent (14-of-16) from the line
- Named NSIC North Player of the Week for second time this season (11/22/16)

NSIC South Division Player of the Week
#32 Kayla Timmerman (C, 6-3, Sr., Wayzata, Minn. / Wayzata HS)
Winona State

- Averaged a double-double with 16.5 points and 11 rebounds
- Added nine assists and ten blocks as WSU went 2-0
- Scored a career high 25 points in a 70-60 victory over Sioux Falls
- Had 11 rebounds in the USF win
- In a 60-36 win over SMSU, again had 11 rebounds to go along with eight points, six assists and seven blocks

- Senior guard Aimee Pelzer led BSU over the weekend while averaging 17 points per game, and recorded her first double-double of the season against SCSU with 15 points and 11 rebounds
- Senior guard Tatum Sheley and freshman center Sydney Arrington each topped 20 points against the Huskies

- Anna Schmitt averaged 18.5 points per game, 5.0 rebounds, and 4.5 assists over the weekend. Shot an average of 53.8 percent in the two games. Tallied 16 points, six rebounds and six assists in the win at Wayne State.

-The Marauders struggled from the field, shooting 35.2 percent over the weekend and 17.2 percent from beyond the arc
- Mary couldn’t put two halves together as they were outscored 56-31 in the first half against the Dragons but outscored them 28-26 in the second half. The Marauders were outscored 34-18 in the second half against the Wolves  
- Outscored its two opponents, 52-40 in the paint but was outscored 34-22 in points off turnovers

- Hannah Larson led the Blue & Orange in points in both games, as she averaged 13.5 points, 8 rebounds over the weekend while recording three blocks
- Gabbie Bohl shot 53 percent from the field and averaged 10.5 points per game in Mary’s two conference games over the weekend
- Lauren Rotunda finished with nine points against NSU and eight points against MSUM, she also recorded one assist, one block and two steals over the weekend

-UMC shot 36.4 percent from the field and 30.4 percent from beyond the arc against St. Cloud State
- They were 12-of-14 for 85.7 percent from the charity stripe against the Huskies
- UMC out-rebounded St. Cloud State 39-25 on the game
-  The Golden Eagles shot 46.3 percent from the field and 55 percent from beyond the arc against Minnesota Duluth
- UMC got within four point against UMD on Saturday with 59 seconds left but free throws from UMD would lead them to the win
- The Golden Eagles shot 41.3 percent from the field and 39.6 percent from beyond the arc on the weekend
- UMC shot 87.5 percent (28-of-32) from the charity stripe on the weekend
- The Golden Eagles out-rebounded their opponents 34.5 to 33.0 on the weekend

- Alison Hughes averaged 15.0 points per game on the weekend
- Emily Gruber tallied 10.0 points and 5.5 rebounds per game on the weekend
- She shot 57.1 percent from the field and 44.4 percent from beyond the arc
- Isieoma Odor tallied 14.0 points and 9.5 rebounds per game on the weekend

- MSUM outscored its opponents 69.5-52.5 on the week, and shot 46 percent from the field
- Dragons had 34 assists compared to 18 for their opposition
- MSUM shot 46 percent (46-of-100) for the week while holding their foes to 36.7 percent shooting

- Junior F Drew Sannes averaged 24.0 points and 10.5 rebounds for the week and scored a career-high 32 points in win over Mary on Friday
- Sannes shot 62.5 percent (15-of-24) from the field for the week and added seven blocks
- Sophomore G Jacky Volkert averaged 12.5 points and 7.0 assists for the week and recorded a career-high nine assists in win over Minot on Saturday
- Junior F Cassidy Thorson averaged 10.0 points per game for the week
- Freshman F Morgan Ham scored a career-high 13 points in win over Minot

- Held MSUM to just seven second-half field goals and 30 percent shooting after the break

- Haley Hildenbrand continues to have a solid start to her collegiate career averaging 13.5 points per game on the weekend to go along with seven rebounds, three assists, a blocked shot and an assist
- Kori Eurich hit 5 of 11 3-pointers to help her finish with 20 points total in two games, while adding eight rebounds and a steal
- Kristal Flowers upped her scoring average to 7.6 per game – fourth on the team in scoring – with 18 combined points, including her first double-double of 10 points and 10 rebounds at NSU

- Northern State hit the boards for more rebounds and collected more assists than both the Beavers and the Marauders

- The Wolves had 11 different players score against Minot State, led by junior Jill Conrad with 14. Conrad recorded 28 points, 12 rebounds and four steal in the two games
- Gabby Laimer tallied 24 points on the weekend, going 7-16 from three point range

- The Cougars righted the ship with a solid 67-58 win over Upper Iowa on Friday
- Kaely Hummel scored 11 of her game-high 18 points in the third quarter as USF pulled away

- Sam Knecht and Kaely Hummel led the Cougars with 11 points per game
- Knecht posted 8.5 rebounds per game while Jacey Huinker averaged 7.0 points, 7.0 rebounds, and 5.5 assists over the weekend
- Brooke Smith scored a career-best 18 points and Madi Robson scored 17 in USF’s loss at Winona State

- The Huskies’ 111 points vs Bemidji State is the most points that have been scored by the Huskies since the 1998-1999 season when they scored 123 vs Morningside
- The game marked the first 2 OT since 2010-11 season when SCSU beat SMSU 87-76 in 2 OT
- Overall, the Huskies shot 40-82 (48.8%) from inside, 9-28 (32.1%) from the field, and 22-28 (78.6%) at the line

- After the Peacocks got behind 24-8 in the first quarter of play, the team battled back to cut the margin back to three points in the second half against SMSU. The Mustangs pushed their lead back to double digits at the free throw line in the final minutes to win 70-59 and snap a 9-game losing streak to UIU
- UIU led 19-16 after the first quarter against USF, but the Cougars held their hosts to just 24 points over the second and third quarters on the way to a 67-58 victory
- Upper Iowa outrebounded their opponents 71-70 over the weekend

- Blair Klostermann averaged 19 points, 3 rebounds and 3 assists per game to lead UIU
- Haley Martin and Carly Pagel teamed up inside to give the Peacocks 23.5 points and 10 rebounds per game
