- Led the Wolves from the Midwest Duals going a perfect 4-0
- Tallied two technical fall and two decision wins
- Notched wins over Josh Weinberg (17-2), Clay Archer (20-17), Nick Swanson (11-5), and Orlando Guerra (18-3)
- Out-scored his opponents 66-27 in the four matches
- His victories over CSU Pueblo and Colorado Mesa, came against wrestlers ranked in the top-5 of Super Region Four
- He is now 17-3 this season and on a 10-match wins streak dating back to the SD Showdown in early December
- Named NSIC Wrestler of the Week for the third time this season (11/8/16 & 12/20/16)

- Jr. Dane Fischer was 3-1 at the Midwest duals with two of the wins by fall. The St. Mary’s HS graduate defeated NM Highlands Jacob Hawthorne 10-8, pinned UCM’s Dylan Lewis and WSCU’s Brendan Gonzales before suffering a 7-3 loss to Robert Gambrell (CSM) at 174 pounds
- Josh Jensen was 3-1 at 125. He shut out Jacob Espana (NMH) 2-0, picked up a forfeit against UCM, was pinned by nationally-ranked Ronald Wardleigh (WSCU) before finishing with a decisive 8-3 win over Matthew Lavengood (CSM) 8-3 |
