NSIC North Division Player of the Week
#51 Miranda Ristau (C, 6-2, Jr., Warner, S.D. / Warner HS)
Northern State
- Averaged 19.5 points and 10 rebounds in 78-58 win over SCSU and 73-48 win over UMD
- Went 14-of-19 from the floor for a shooting percentage of 73.7 in the two contests
- Recorded 20 rebounds, six assists, five blocks and two steals over the weekend
- Now leads the team with an average of 15.9 points and 7.9 rebounds per game
- Within the NSIC, the junior is fifth in scoring, seventh in rebounds, sixth in field goal percentage and sixth in blocked shots

- Recorded a double-double with 22 points and 10 rebounds in a 62-51 win at Sioux Falls
- Tied her career-high with five blocks against USF
- Win against USF snapped three game losing streak to the Cougars
- Finished with 17 points, nine rebounds, and four blocks in a 67-63 win at SMSU
- Shot 8-13 (61.5%) from the field against the Mustangs

- Augustana picked up two wins this weekend over Upper Iowa and #17 Winona State, putting an end to their 4 straight weeks of going 1-1 - The Vikings earned their first win over a ranked team when they blew out #17 Winona State - Augustana was the first team this season to score over 70 points against Winona State - The Vikings ended Winona State’s 15-game home winning streak - After beating Upper Iowa, Augustana improved to 18-0 all-time against the Peacocks

- Logan O’Farrell averaged 11.5 ppg and 7 rpg. She added 3 steals and a block to her totals - Lynsey Prosser and Naomi Rust were the only other Vikings to score in double-digits (They each average 10 ppg) - Logan and Paige Peterson tied for the team lead with 7 rebounds per game - Peterson scored 14 off the bench in the Vikings upset of Winona State

- Bemidji State has now won two of its last three games after a weekend split on the road, beating Minot State, 83-57, before falling to U-Mary, 76-66 - BSU’s win against MISU snapped a 26-game road losing streak that dated back to Jan. 6, 2015 and was the first back-to-back wins against NSIC teams since Feb. 15-16, 2013 against MISU and U-Mary - Senior guard Aimee Pelzer tied a career-high 25 points against the Beavers and brought her within 50 points of 1,000 for her career at BSU - Sheley finished with 25 points on 8-for-16 shooting from the field and 5-for-6 from beyond the arc for her ninth career game with at least 20 points - The Beavers shot 49.6 percent from the field and 47.6 percent from long range over the weekend while averaging 14.5 assist per game

- Senior guard Aimee Pelzer led BSU with 20.0 points per game on 60.0 percent shooting from the field and 56.3 percent from beyond the arc - Pelzer tied a career-high 25 points against Minot State and finished the weekend 29 points shy of 1,000 for her career at BSU - Senior guard Tatum Sheley became the 18th student-athlete in BSU program history to reach 1,000 career points - Sheley’s first shot in the second quarter, a 3-pointer to put BSU up 21-14, gave her 13 points before finishing the game with a team-high 25 and the weekend averaging 19.5 points per game

F Gabbie Bohl 18th in scoring in the NSIC (13.0 PPG) and 1st among freshmen. She is also 10th in field goal percentage (.486)

They are currently tied for fourth place with St. Cloud State - Minnesota Crookston was 27-of-57 from the field for 47.4 percent against U-Mary and 11-of-27 for 40.7 percent from beyond the arc. They were 15-of-20 for 75 percent from the charity stripe - The Golden Eagles had 17 assists on Friday against the Marauders - UMC shot 16-of-18 for 88.9 percent from the charity stripe against Minot State Top Performers - Micaela Noga had a big weekend for UMC. She averaged 19.5 points per game, 5.5 rebounds and 5.5 assists for the Golden Eagles - She shot 11-of-23 for 47.8 percent from the field and 85.7 percent from the charity stripe - Alison Hughes averaged 19 points on the weekend against U-Mary and Minot State - Isieoma Odor came off the bench for 13 points and six points against U-Mary - Emily Gruber tallied 15 points and seven rebounds versus Minot State

- Taylor Meyer became the 20th player in UMD history to score 1,000 points after knocking down a free throw in the second quarter against Northern State. Meyer averaged 14 points per game on the weekend - Sammy Kozlowski scored a team-high 18 points against NSU and averaged 14.5 over two games - Allyson Harris notched 13 points and six rebounds in her performance against MSU Moorhead, which extended her double-digit scoring streak to seven games
