NSIC North Division Player of the Week
#42 Drew Sannes (F, 6-3, Jr., Hawley, Minn. / Hawley HS)
MSU Moorhead
- Averaged 14.5 points, 12.5 rebounds and 6.0 blocks per game to help MSUM to a pair of home wins
- Recorded two double-doubles as she now has a team best seven on the season
- Recorded 14 points, 11 rebounds and a season-high seven blocks in 66-58 win over Minnesota State
- Followed with 15 points, 14 rebounds and 5 blocks in 76-63 win over Concordia-St. Paul
- Finished a perfect 9-of-9 from the foul line on the week
- Named NSIC Player of the Week for the third time this season (11/22/16 & 12/5/16)

- Sr. F Hannah Larson averaged 17.5 PPG and 6.5 RPG over the weekend with 4.0 assists/game. She had 16 points, five rounds and five assists against UMD and 19 points, eight rebounds, three assists and two blocks at SCSU - R-Fr. Gabbie Bohl extended her string of double-digit scoring to five games, averaging 15 PPG and 6.0 RPG while making 14-of-23 shots over the weekend. She had 10 points and three rebounds against UMD. In the win at SCSU Bohl had a team-high 20 points with nine rebounds - Jr. G Dani Williams had a big weekend behind the arc. She had four treys in each game, making 8-of-15 treys and 10-of-19 shots while averaging 15.5 PPG, 3.0 assists/game and 3.5 rebounds/game. She had 16 points and made 4-of-6 treys at UMD. Williams followed up with 15 points and four rebounds with a 4-of-9 effort behind the arc at SCSU - Fr. G Lauren Rotunda had her first double double against SCSU with 12 points and 10 rebounds in the win. She also had four assists

- Minnesota Crookston picked up their second conference win of the season with a 72-68 victory over Upper Iowa - The Golden Eagles shot 33.3 percent from beyond the arc on the weekend - UMC shot 40.4 percent from the field in the win over Upper Iowa - The Golden Eagles shot 33.3 percent from beyond the arc against the Peacocks - UMC fended off a late charge by Upper Iowa with key free throws from Caitlin Michaelis - The Golden Eagles struggled out of the gate against No. 16 Winona State as they trailed 21-11 after the first quarter - UMC shot 34.6 percent from the field against Winona State Top Performers - Micaela Noga had 20 points on 8-of-11 from the field and 4-of-7 from beyond the arc against Winona State - Alison Hughes led the way against Upper Iowa with 23 points on 5-of-11 from the field and 5-of-9 from beyond the arc - Alison Hughes was a perfect 8-of-8 from the charity stripe against the Peacocks - Emily Gruber had 13 points against Upper Iowa  - Caitlin Michaelis tallied 11 points versus the Peacocks

- Kristal Flowers earned a double-double against UMD (12 points, 11 rebounds), her second of the season, and had a monster night on the boards against SCSU, pulling down a career-high 18 to go with six points - Mariah Payne had one of her best offensive nights hitting 8 of 11 field goals to score 22 points against St. Cloud State and added 11 against UMD - Kori Eurich hit 3 of 6 3-pointers on the weekend to finished with double figures scoring both nights, knocking down 11 at SCSU and 10 at UMD

- Miranda Ristau led the Wolves in scoring both nights, recording 16 points against CSP and 20 points versus MSU. The junior also had a team-high 18 rebounds and three blocks in the two contests - Senior Paige Waytashek also aided the Wolves with 20 total points, nine rebounds and five assists

- Caleigh Rodning led the team in scoring in two games with 20 and 19 points respectively over the weekend - Rodning went a combined 13-of-19 (68 percent) shooting from the field in the two games over the weekend while hitting 13-of-16 free throw attempts  -Lauren Hedlund pulled in another six offensive rebounds against Augustana as a part of her 13 total rebounds on the night - Taylor Holicky added a double-double with 14 points and 10 rebounds against Wayne State

- Huskies have lost four of their last five NSIC match-ups after falling in back to back games against Minot State and U-Mary - The Huskies fell just one point shy of erasing an eight point deficit against the Marauders in the second game of the weekend - The Huskies outshot the Beavers at the line 81.3% to 55.6% - the Huskies also had were able to turn turnovers into points more successfully than their opponents, scoring 21 points and 19 points off turnovers against the Beavers and Marauders respectively. - The Huskies’ bench was also able to outscore opponents beating out Minot’s bench 21-19 and Mary’s 27-10

- Betsy MacDonald: 33 points on weekend, led team with 15 against Minot State, when she also dished out a team high five assists - Mallie Doucette: 20 of her 29 points of the weekend came against Mary, when she single-handedly led the Huskies in scoring for the first time in her career - Brianna Johnson: Accounted for nine of the teams’ 30 rebounds against Minot - Chelsea Nooker: Led the team with five assists and eight rebounds versus U-Mary, also scored 12 points in the match up
