Concordia’s trio of multi-event athletes played a major role in that point total as Wakpor Ighovojah, Kalle Burney and Erica Young had a hand in 31 of the team’s 45.66 points. Ighovojah and Burney both finished inside the top-3 in the pentathlon and earned trips to the NCAA Indoor Championships a few weeks ago as Ighovojah became the first female track and field athlete to be named an All-American.
