- Recorded 12 strikeouts, the most of any SCSU pitcher this season, and two shy of NSIC season high

- The Golden Eagles set the school record with 25 wins last season

- Cody Pamperin had a strong outing on Wednesday against St. Cloud State
- Pamperin went seven innings, giving up just one earned run on five hits with seven strikeouts
- Zach Seipel got his first career start on Wednesday and went five innings, giving up four runs on seven hits with seven strikeouts
- Jayden Grover had a stand-out performance out of the bullpen, shutting down the Huskies in two innings
- Justin Yutrzenka shut down St. Cloud State in two innings out of the bullpen. He limited the Huskies to just one hit with three strikeouts
- Patrick Higgins broke up a Dominic Austing no hitter on Wednesday against St. Cloud State

- Belted a homer in back-to-back at bats against Minot State on Sunday and drove in six runs in that 11-4 triumph
- Midas now has a team-leading five home runs on the season
- Senior third baseman Kyle Hoffman went 3-fo-7 in four games  while senior shortstop Brian Pierce was 5-for-14 and started all five contests
- UMD used 12 different pitchers in the five games, including sophomore southpaw Ryan Cunningham, who gave up no runs in 8.0 innings of work while striking out nine
- He started and went  seven innings in a 1-0 blanking of Concordia-St. Paul last Wednesday

- Freshman utility player Teddy Petersen led the Mavericks with a .500 batting average last week
- He also led the team in slugging percentage (.800) and on-base percentage (.625)
- Junior first baseman Dylan Dresel, who batted .318 with a .375 on-base percentage, seven hits, one double and a .636 slugging percentage, led the Mavericks in home runs (2), total bases (14) and RBI (10)
- Senior right-hander Mitchell Bauer finished the week 2-0 to improve his 2017 record to 7-0
- Bauer led the Mavericks in innings pitched 14 1/3 and wins, and was second amongst eligible Mavericks with a .211 batting average against
- Junior right-hander Ricky Digrugilliers pitched eight innings in relief with a 1.12 ERA and a .143 batting average against to pick up the victory in the Mavericks’ 11-6 comeback win at Bemidji State on Friday
- Junior left-hander Brody Rodning improved to 5-2 in 2017 with a seven-inning complete game in the Mavericks’ 2-1 win at Bemidji State on Friday. Rodning has thrown four complete games in 2017 – the most he has tossed in a season during his collegiate career

- Chevalier notched three strikeouts and gave up just three hits and one unearned run

- USF swept UIU on Sunday at Sioux Falls Stadium behind a strong showing at the plate and on the mound
- The Cougars took down the Peacocks in game one 20-2 and then scored an 11-1 decision in game two, which was shortened to seven innings due to the NSIC run-rule

- Alex George went 11-20 (.550) with a double for the week to lead the Peacocks in hitting
- Jacob Greco hit .500 (9-18) for the week, including a 7-8 day at Wayne State in the midweek doubleheader
