- Micaela Noga of the Minnesota Crookston women’s basketball team needs just 47 points to become the 11th player in school history to reach 1,000 points. She needs 61 points to surpass Bri Zabel for 10th all-time in career scoring
- The Golden Eagles have been very close in several games this season as they have lost six games by 10 or less points this season.
- Minnesota Crookston fell in a pair of games this weekend, dropping Friday’s game 73-65 to Minnesota Duluth after a 14-4 run in the second half for the Bulldogs. Saturday against St. Cloud State, the Golden Eagles fell 70-54. The Huskies used 12 three-pointers and a big first half to upend Minnesota Crookston. The Golden Eagles made a late charge as they outscored the Huskies 21-18 in the fourth quarter, but it would be too late
- The Golden Eagles are third in the NSIC in free throw percentage at 78.8 percent. Minnesota Crookston is sixth in field goal percentage at 40.8 percent |
