#3 Daniel Davis (WR, 5-11, 170, Jr., Tarpon Springs, Fla. / Tarpon Springs HS / Garden City C.C.) - Southwest Minnesota State
- Tied a school record with four touchdown receptions in SMSU’s 55-6 win over Minnesota Crookston
- Finished with a game-high six receptions for 134 yards in three quarters of play
- Recorded his third 100-yard receiving game of the season
- Had touchdown receptions of 18, 32, 19 and 30 in the game
- Leads SMSU this season in receptions (36), yards (582) and touchdowns (8)

- The Bulldogs return to James Malosky Stadium this Saturday to host Southwest Minnesota State to cap off Homecoming week on the UMD campus
- The Bulldogs are 8-1 in their last nine games against the Mustangs with that lone loss (42-38)coming the last time the two clubs collided (Sept. 1, 2016 in Marshall, Minn.)
- UMD has outscored the opposition 63-3 in the first quarter this fall and that lone field goal came in the season opener at Minot State
- The Bulldogs rank third among all NCAA II schools in total defense (215 yards per game) and have given up the third fewest points (11.8 per game) in the country |

- Sophomore quarterback John Larson became the first Bulldog to crack the 100-yard rushing mark this season, finishing with a career-high 104 yards on 17 carries in Saturday’s road triumph. He also completed 16 of 30 passes for 196 yards and two touchdowns
- Nate Ricci led both teams with six receptions, giving him 127 for his career
- That moved him into the No. 8 spot on the program’s all-time charts, one ahead of fellow senior team captain Jason Balts, who has been sidelined the past two weekends with a lower body injury
- Senior cornerback Tareq Abulebbeh picked off two passes (giving him a Bulldog-best five on the season) and paced the Bulldogs defensively with six total tackles |
