- Caught a career-high 13 passes for 234 yards and two scores in a 31-26 win over BSU

- Caught a 70-yard score in the second half, which was MSUM’s longest scoring play of the season

#8 Jonas Schenderlein (K, 6-1, 185, Sr., Jena, Germany / Tri-Cities Christian School) - Concordia-St. Paul
- Tied two school records with three field goals and two 50-plus yarders in a single game
- Connected from 53, 28 and 52 yards and made his only PAT for 10 points in a 16-10 win at SMSU
- Produced touchbacks on all five of his kickoffs and is 29-of-48 (60.4%) which ranks among DII’s top-5
- Has three 50-plus yard field goals on the season and has made a CSP record 9 from 50-plus in his career
- Has 40 career made field goals, just four shy of the school record
- His 10 points moved him up to sixth in CSP history with 215 points
- His 53 and 52 yarders were the fifth and eighth longest in DII this year, giving him three of the longest eight in the country

- UMD hiked its NSIC winning streak to 18 games by defeating UMary 55-0 Saturday for its first shut out of the 2018 season
- The Bulldogs rolled up a season-high 625 yards while holding the winless Marauders to just 59, including a minus-14 on the ground
- The -14 yards is lowest total by a Bulldog opponent since Oct. 19, 2013 (minus-45 by Minot State)
- They also finished with 31 first downs (their most in past 23 games) compared to a mere four for Mary (which is now 0-12 lifetime vs. UMD) while clinching at least share of its 11th straight NSIC North Division title
- UMD will host Northern State this Saturday with a chance to do what only five previous Bulldog clubs have ever been able to do – finish a regular season with a unblemished record (it also happened in 2014, 2010, 2008, 2002 and 1980)
- Also on the line is a chance to secure its 20th NSIC overall championship (and first since 2014)
- Since the NSIC instituted divisional play in 2008, the Bulldogs are a sizzling 68-3 in North Division assignments (and 37-0 at home)
- UMD has outscored the opposition 111-3 in the first quarter this fall (with that lone field goal coming in the season opener at Minot State) and 293-29 in the first half
- The Bulldogs currently rank first among all NCAA II schools in total defense (192.6 yards per game), second in both scoring defense (10.3 points per game) and rushing defense (61.7 ypg) and third in passing defense (130.9 ypg)
- UMD, which is one of 10 unbeaten NCAA II teams remaining in the country, have trailed for just 3:49 all season and that came in one stretch during the second half of its 26-19 double overtime takedown of Bemidji State |
