NSIC Offensive Player of the Week
#16 Jarod Epperson (RB, 6-0, 182, Fr., Omaha, Neb. / Skutt Catholic HS) - Augustana
- Led the NSIC last week with 236 all-purpose yards in the Vikings’ 51-6 win at Minot State
- Rushed for a season-high 156 yards, the top rushing performance in the NSIC last week
- His 94-yard rush is the second-longest in Augustana program history
- Had a season-high 82 yards receiving,
- Finished with six rushes for 156 yards for a 26 yards per rush average
- Ranks sixth in total yards in the NSIC and ninth in the nation with an average of 7.1 yards per carry
NSIC Defensive Player of the Week
#57 Jordan Magnuson (DL, 6-3, 275, Jr., Valley City, N.D. / Valley City HS) - MSU Moorhead
- Had a career high 14 tackles in a 23-14 win over SMSU
- Had seven solo stops and finished with six tackles for a loss of 39 yards
- Registered a career high three sacks, resulting in loss of 27 yards
NSIC Special Teams Player of the Week
#9 Paul Ortiz (K/P, 6-1, 190, Sr., Chula Vista, Calif. / Meter Dei Catholic HS) - Winona State
- Scored eight points in the Warriors 38-17 win over St. Cloud State
- Connected on a 49 yard field goal, the longest in NSIC last week
- Was 5-for-5 on point after attempts
- Had four punts that averaged 41.5 yards, including one for 50 yards and one inside the 20

Offense
#25 Darios Crawley-Reid (CSP) had his first career 100-yard rushing game in win over BSU; had 37-yard TD to put CSP ahead 17-7 in 2nd quarter & 1-yard GW TD in OT; averaged 7.1 per carry in the win - leads Concordia with 7 total touchdowns (6 rush, 1 rec); second 2 TD performance in last 3 games with 5 TD in that stretch; has scored a TD in 5 of 7 games played on the year; averaging 6.6 per carry as a true freshman (50-331)
#84 Shane Zylstra (MSU) led MSU receivers with 128 receiving yards and two touchdown catches vs. UMC; This is the fourth time this season he has tallied more than 100 receiving yards in a game; Averaged 18.2 yards per catch; Is now MSU’s all-time leader in receiving yards with 3,536.
#34 Thuro Reisdorfer (USF) was the key component on the ground as he surpassed 100 yards for a second straight week and the third time this season with 11 carries for 133 yards and two TDs in the 35-13 road win over NSU. Reisdorfer scored on a personal best and school record 98-yard TD run on USF’s first possession for a 7-0 lead and then scoring the final TD in the fourth quarter on a six-yard run. He pushed his season total to 704 yards on 103 carries for 6.9 yards per carry. He now has 10 rushing TDs and a league leading 13 total TDs. The 98-yard run is the longest in the NSIC this season. Reisdorfer ranks fourth in the league in rushing and tied for first in scoring with 78 points (9.8 per game).
#80 Daniel Davis (SMSU) caught a game-high 11 passes for 156 yards and one touchdown in SMSU’s loss to MSU Moorhead. It’s his third straight 100-yard game and his fourth of the season. He leads the NSIC in receptions and is second in yards and second in touchdowns.
Defense
#52 Chris Garrett (CSP) set CSP career sacks record with 33.5 in just 25 games, surpassing Zach Moore’s 33 in 39 games - led CSP defense with 11 tackles, 2.5 TFL, 2.0 sacks - in the first half, he forced 3 turnovers with 2 strip sacks and a deflection for INT for a 17-7 halftime lead - recovered 1 of his 2 forced fumbles - leads DII with 6 FF, ranks 2nd in DII with 1.38 sacks/game & 6th with 2.1 TFL/game
#99 Brayden Thomas (MSU) posted a team-leading seven tackles vs. Minnesota Crookston. - Recorded a team-leading 4.0 tackles for a loss and 4.0 sacks. - He is the first Maverick to record four sacks in a game since Joshua Gordon did so against Augustana during the 2015 season.
#36 Tucker Stout (USF) had an interception return for a TD and six tackles to lead USF to a 35-13 win over Northern State on the road. Stout had his third interception of the season and first career interception return for a TD in the second quarter to lead another dominate defensive outing by USF. USF recorded its second defensive TD of the season Led by Stout, USF, which leads the NSIC and will rank first in DII at 208.5 yards allowed per game, gave up just 229 yards in total offense and 31 rushing (29 carries). The rushing defense effort by USF will place them fifth in DII.
#38 Erik Hansen (UIU) registered 6 tackles in UIU’s upset at Minnesota Duluth;posted 4 tackles for loss including 2 sacks
#55 Tyler Thomsen (WSC) was credited with 13 tackles in Wayne State’s 26-23 win at UMary...had five solo and eight assisted stops with one pass breakup and one interception...interception came in 4th quarter when Mary was driving for go-ahead score.
#39 Clay Schueffner (WSU) recorded two INTs vs. St. Cloud; has three picks over the last two games (4 this season); totaled seven tackles (4 solo) and 0.5 TFL.
Special Teams
#41 Blake Ochsendorf (MSUM) averaged 39.8 yards per punt on five punts in win over SMSU; had a long punt of 52 yards; placed two inside the 20-yard line and had no touchbacks.
