NSIC Women's Tennis Player of the Week

- Went 2-0 on the weekend in singles play and 2-0 in doubles play to help the Vikings to a pair of wins
- She defeated Kelsey Lajom (U-Mary) 6-0, 6-2 at No. 2 Singles
- Paired up with Kornelia Staniszewska to defeat Tasha Dembo and Kelsey Lajom (U-Mary) 6-1, in No. 1 Doubles
- Defeated Lorissa Yuen (MSU Moorhead) 6-2, 6-2 to remain undefeated on the season in No. 2 Singles
- Teamed up with Staniszewska to defeat Julia Geske and Olivia Keelin (MSU Moorhead) 6-1 in No. 1 Doubles
- Helped Augustana win its 100th straight NSIC match dating back to the 2009 season

- Kornelia Staniszewska extended her regular season win-streak to 22 matches on Sunday with a 6-1, 6-1 win over MSU Moorhead’s Julie Geske in No.1 singles
- Laura Arce Vieyra kept her undefeated streak alive on the season with a 6-2, 6-2 win over Lorissa Yuen in singles action. She also teamed up with Staniszewska to defeat Julia Geske and Olivia Keelin 6-1 in doubles to remain undefeated in doubles.

- Saturday marked BSU’s fourth consecutive victory over the Huskies and second of 2019

- UMD defeated visiting Bemidji State (4-3 on Friday) and Minnesota Crookston (7-0 on Saturday) last weekend in the Bulldogs’ NSIC debuts
- At 4-0 overall, UMD is enjoying its best start since reeling off four straight wins to open the 2001 season
- The 1997 Bulldogs own the school record for most consecutive wins to begin a year with five
- The Bulldogs are 20-4 in singles play thus far in 2019, but just 6-6 in doubles

- Sophomores Nataile Cahill and Isabel Thiner are both 4-0 in singles this season while rookie Sophie Lynch, who sat out Saturday's clash against Minnesota-Crookston, is 3-0 on the year
- Cahill is now 12-1 as a collegian with that lone loss coming at Winona State on Feb. 25. She’s reeled off eight straight victories since then
-Rookie Ally Tiedemann has generated three straight singles wins after dropping her collegiate debut against St. Scholastica

- In singles play freshman Victoria Ambrosio-Cueto won her first career match in three sets at No. 4 singles
- No. 1 singles Chloe Jefferies, a sophomore, is 0-2 but has lost a pair of close matches including one by tiebreaker. She is now 14-5 in her career
- Megan Quandt at No. 2, and Joelle Thorfinnson at No. 5 have a 1-1 record so far
- The doubles team of Rachel Klatt and Joelle Thorfinnson won their first match of the season and stand 1-0

- Upper Iowa was a player down on Sunday against SMSU and forfeited the No. 3 doubles and No. 6 singles matches due to injury. The Mustangs claimed the doubles point and added three wins in singles before the remaining matches were stopped due to impending weather

- Shakhnaza Zhanatova and Maryke Badenhorst teamed up for a 6-4 win at No. 1 doubles against MSU
- Deimante Krivickaite and Lavanya Singh partnered for a 6-2 win at No. 2 versus the Mavericks
- Krivickaite put together an impressive 6-1, 6-0 victory at No. 3 singles for UIU's second point of the match on Saturday
