NSIC Player of the Year
#12 Cassie Askvig  (F, 6-2, Jr., Minot, N.D. / Minot HS)
University of Mary

- Averaged 18 points per game and hauled down 9.3 rebounds per game
- Added 2.3 assists/game and shot 50.2 percent from the field and 46.4 percent from deep
- Ranks second in the NSIC in scoring, fourth in field goal percentage, fifth in free throw percentage, and sixth in rebounding
- Recorded nine double-doubles in NSIC play and reached double figure points in 20 of 22 NSIC match ups
- Askvig is the first UMary women’s basketball player to win NSIC Player of the Year honors
- Recorded career highs in points (34) and rebounds (20) against Wayne State this season
- Askvig has 1,079 career points and 605 rebounds and ranks 17th all time in scoring and 11th in rebounding for UMary

NSIC Defensive Player of the Year
#23 Sammy Kozlowski (Sr., G, 5-9, New Berlin, Wis. / New Berlin Eisenhower HS)
University of Minnesota Duluth

- Three-time member of the NSIC All-Defensive team
- Three-time All-Conference and an NSIC All-Freshmen Team honoree
- Led the NSIC with 63 steals and 2.7 steals per game in league play
- Recorded 26 points and eight steals, both collegiate highs, against UMary
- Third in league play in assists per game and in assist-to-turnover ratio
- Became a member of UMD’s 1,000 point club, sitting 15th all-time in scoring at 1,212 points
- Fourth all-time in steals (243) and sixth in assists (416) at UMD
- Ninth in total steals among active NCAA Division II players

NSIC Freshman of the Year

- Averaged 11 points per game in 22 NSIC contests with 13 starts
- Averaged nearly 24 minutes per game while going 89-of-198 (44.9%) from the field
- Shot 34.5% from beyond the arc (20-58)
- Averaged 3.4 rebounds per game with 29 steals and 32 assists

NSIC Coach of the Year

- Led MSUM to third straight NSIC regular-season title and 4th straight NSIC North title
- Guided MSUM to 19-3 mark in league play
