- Returned to the Peacock lineup to hit .571 (8-of14) with a 1.571 slugging percentage
- Drove in nine runs with a pair of doubles and four home runs, scoring seven times
- He also walked five times to hold a .684 on-base percentage
- He also stole a base and had 12 putouts in his five games

- Is 1-2 in four starts this season with a 2.52 ERA in 25 innings with 31 strikeouts

- The Golden Bears pitching staff struck out over a batter an inning with 50 strikeouts in 48.0 innings while finishing with a 3.56 ERA and a .283 opponent average

- Cole Kirchoff provided a bright spot at the plate as he slashed .429/.467/.714 with three of his six hits going for extra bases to go along with a team-leading three steals
- Ryan Christopher hit .474 (9-19) on the week with six RBIs while also adding 6.0 innings of two-hit ball with no earned runs allowed to go along with seven strikeouts in the win over Bemidji State

- UMary now plays 12 straight homes games and 17 of the next 20 in Bismarck

- Darius Barlas was 3-for-7 with two home runs, two runs scored and four RBIs in the Wayne State doubleheader. He was 2-for-4 in the second game with two home runs, two runs scored and three RBIs
- Barlas is second in the NSIC with six home runs. The senior has a slash line of .319/.364/.597 with two doubles, 10 runs scored and 18 RBIs
- Daulton Sauce, Connor Doll and Jesus Payan were all 2-for-4 in the second WSC game with Sauce scoring twice and Doll once

- Landyn Swenson had three hits in game one against the Mavericks and scored one run.
- Reed Hjelle had three hits in the two games, including a 2 RBI double in game two, that helped propel the Golden Eagles to the historic victory
- Conner Richardson didn’t pitch like a freshman in the 8-7 loss in game one to the Mavericks. Richardson went seven innings in relief and allowed just one run on three hits.
- Travis Conoryea had two hits in the split against the Mavericks
- Seven different Golden Eagles scored a run in the 8-7 loss to the Mavericks in game one.

- After opening the season with a dozen games away from the Twin Ports, UMD finally made its 2019 home debut on Sunday in Superior, Wis., where the Bulldogs were defeated twice by NSIC rival Concordia-St. Paul
- The Golden Bears went on to snare two more victories from UMD the following day
- UMD had five different starters bat over.428 in the four-game series, but Bulldog batters struck out a total of 35 times in 32 innings of play

- Senior Tyler Wojciechowski batted .538 against the Golden Bears, going 7-for-13 with one double
- Henry George hit at a .467 clip and drove in a pair of runs while fellow sophomore Anders Brown was 5-for-11 (.455). George now tops the Bulldogs with a .346 average
- Junior lefthander Rece Dietrich turned in an impressive start in the opening game Sunday, going six innings and allowing just one run (unearned) and seven hits while fanning five. He left the game with the Bulldogs leading 2-1 (they would eventually give up three runs to the Golden Bears in the seventh,  inning in a 4-2 setback).

- Minnesota State outscored Bemidji State 41-2 in the four-game weekend series, collecting 59 hits
- Offensively the Mavericks hit .370 on the week with 17 extra base hits as the pitching staff held a 1.47 earned-run average with 42 strikeouts and 17 walks

- Junior outfielder Ty Denzer had a .500/.722/.550 slash line on the week with two doubles, a triple, four RBI, five runs scored, a walk and a hit by pitch.
- Senior catcher Tom Imholte hit .524 on the week with one double, four RBI, five runs scored, one walk and two hit by pitch
- Freshman infielder Nick Altermatt (2-0) hit .391 with three doubles, six runs scored, 12 RBI, four walks and a hit by pitch. Altermatt also hit .600 with runners in scoring position
- Sophomore right-hander Trevor Divinski (2-0) pitched a complete game shutout, allowing one hit and one walk with three strikeouts. Divinski faced 23 batters and threw 74 pitches in seven innings
- Sophomore right-hander Cam Kline (5-0) pitched a complete game shutout, allowing five hits and two walks with nine strikeouts

- On the mound, USF has a 7.46 ERA which is 13th in the league. The Cougars have a solid strikeout to walk ratio with 172 strikeouts and 72 walks
