BURNSVILLE, Minn. - The pairings for the 2019 NSIC Women's Tennis Tournament are set as the 11-match NSIC schedule concluded Saturday evening.  Augustana, which won its tenth straight NSIC regular season championship, will be the number one seed in the eight-team single elimination tournament, which will take place on Saturday and Sunday, April 13-14 at the Lifetime Fitness in Minnetonka, Minnesota. The Vikings will take on the eighth seed, Southwest Minnesota State on Saturday, April 13 at 2 p.m.
 
Augustana has won 110 straight NSIC matches, with its last loss coming back on April 19, 2009 to Minnesota State.  Since joining the NSIC in 2008-09, the Viking are 117-3 in NSIC matches, have won ten straight NSIC regular season titles and the last eight NSIC Tournaments. The Vikings has won their last 22 NSIC Tournament matches as well.
 
Other first round matchups have second seeded MSU Moorhead versus seventh seeded Bemidji State at 9 a.m. Third seeded Winona State will take on sixth seeded Sioux Falls at 11:30 a.m. with the final match of the day being fourth seeded Minnesota Duluth versus fifth seeded University of Mary  at 4:30 p.m. All match start times are subject to change if earlier matches run long. No matches will begin early than announced start time. 
 
Both semifinal matches will be play Sunday, April 14 at 8 a.m. with the championship match set for noon. 

The NCAA Central Region is comprised of the 29 teams from the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference (12), Mid-America Intercollegiate Athletics Association (MIAA) (10), and the Great American Conference (GAC) (7). The post season tournament winner from each conference receives an automatic bid to the NCAA Central Region Tournament on May 13-14 and will be joined by the next three highest ranked teams in the final rankings. Two teams from each of the eight regions will advance to the final site, which will be played May 22-25 at Sanlando Park in Altamonte Springs, Florida.  The NCAA women's tennis selections will be announced on Tuesday, May 7 at www.NCAA.com.

WSU  earned the third seed over UMD via its head-to-head win.
