NSIC Offensive Player of the Week
#3 Grady Bresnahan (WR, 5-9, 175, Jr., Casselton, N.D. / Central Cass HS) - MSU Moorhead
- Caught 11 passes and tied a career-high with 146 receiving yards in 24-17 win at Northern State
- Hauled in winning touchdown from 26 yards out with 16 seconds left in regulation to give Dragons win
- First 100-yard receiving game of 2019 season and now has five for career
- Leads NSIC at 8.3 receptions per game
NSIC Defensive Player of the Week
#43 T.J. Liggett (LB, 6-0, 210, So., Rosemount, Minn. / Rosemount HS) - Augustana
- Led the Vikings with nine tackles (seven solo) in a 26-13 victory over Wayne State
- Forced two fumbles, the second of which led to points, and added a quarterback hurry
- Led a defensive effort that only allowed 50 rushing yards to WSC
NSIC Special Teams Player of the Week
#4 JoseLuis Moreno (K/P, 6-0, 180, Sr., San Lorenzo, Calif. / Bishop O’Dowd HS) - Minot State
- Scored 10 points in a 34-29 win at UMary
- Hit field goals from 37 and 46 yards and was 4-of-4 on extra points
- Punted seven times with a 42.0 yard average, long of 51 and three inside the 20

Offense
#11 Kyle Saddler (AUGIE) was the league’s top passer in week three with 302 yards; threw for two touchdowns to lead the Vikings to victory over Wayne State; completed passes to seven different receivers; had a long pass of 49 yards, which two plays later set up the Vikings first touchdown; the second touchdown came on a 23-yard pass.
#23 Nate Gunn (MSU) rushed for 103 yards against Concordia-St. Paul marking the third time this season and 22nd time in his career that he has rushed for more than 100 yards in a game; averaged 7.4 yards per carry.
#9 Logan Nelson (UMary) became the first Marauder to run for over 100 yards and pass for over 200 in the same game since joining NCAA Division II; accounted for four touchdowns; ran for 149 yards on 12 carries and scored on runs of 62, 55 and 15 yards; Completed 10-of-23 passes for 210 yards, one touchdown and one interception; scoring pass covered 46 yards... led Marauders offense to 490 yards, the most for the program since the last game of 2014.
#34 Thuro Reisdorfer (USF) recorded a career-high 113 yards rushing on 13 carries with a career-high four TDs; registered first career 100-yard rushing game with his career-high total; recorded a career-long 50 yard TD run in the third quarter
#23 Sam Santiago-Lloyd (WSU) rushed for a career-high 131 yards with one touchdown in a 28-0 win over Upper Iowa. Also completed a touchdown pass for the first score of the game.
Defense
#9 Gabe Ames (BSU) recorded a career-high three sacks with seven tackles in 27-10 win at UMC; Became first Beaver with at least three sacks in a game since 2011; Four of seven tackles were solo; Helped BSU defense total six sacks.
#97 Dan Monson (UMD) collected four tackles and 2.0 tackles for loss including a sack of SCSU’s Dwayne Lawhorn for (-10) yards in the fourth quarter; Successfully blocked St. Cloud State’s first-quarter FG attempt.
#29 Jack Leius (MSU) led the Maverick defense with seven tackles; notched 4.5 tackles for a loss,; His 4.5 tackles for a loss combined for 14 yards lost.
#97 Sall Hunter (MSUM) led team with eight tackles in 24-17 win at Northern State --had team-high 3.0 tackles for loss, including a sack.
#10 Brody Grantham (USF) recorded a team-high nine tackles (four solos) with 2.5 TFLs, an interception (one of three by USF) in a 51-7 win over SMSU; Part of defense that held SMSU to 160 yards in total offense and just six yards rushing on 36 carries (.2 yards per carry).
Special Teams
#23 Luis Guarita (AUGIE) hit four field goals and two point-after attempts to tally 14 of the Vikings 26 points on Saturday; Longest distance was from 34 yards, also nailing from distances of 30, 21 and 25 yards; averaged 54.1 yards on seven kickoffs, totaled 379 yards.
#25 Dan Branger (UMD) hit two field goals (27 yards, 32 yards) that were the difference in the game as No. 13 UMD held on to defeat St. Cloud State (RV) 20-14; Knocked in a pair of extra point attempts on the Bulldogs’ two touchdowns.
#40 Ashton Garner (MSU) went 2-for-2 in field goal attempts from 30 and 42 yards out; averaged 62.3 yards per kickoff and tallied three touchbacks.
#89 Daniel Esparza (USF) hit a 38-yard field goal into the wind to extend his streak of made field goals to start career at four; Has made all 12 of his extra points and has 24 points to rank second in the NSIC at 8.0 points per game.
