NCAA Release
INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. --- Winona State University Director of Athletics
Jen Flowers was appointed to the NCAA Division II Management Council Chair for a one-year term, beginning at the conclusion of the 2027 Division II business session.
"I am humbled by the opportunity to serve the Division II membership as Chair of the Management Council," Flowers said. "The work that Management Council does in support of the institutions and student-athletes that call Division II home, is important and impactful. It is an honor to represent Winona State and the NSIC on the Council and I look forward to providing continued leadership as we embrace the ever-changing landscape of college athletics."
The Management Council reports to the Presidents Council and is responsible for providing recommendations on the administrative policies and regulations that guide the Division II membership. It also evaluates and acts on recommendations submitted by Division II committees and Division II representatives serving on committees that oversee association-wide matters.
The Council consists of 28 members, representing various areas of Division II membership. Its membership includes one administrator or representative from each multisport voting conference, one representative of Division II independent institutions (if the division has at least eight independent members), two representatives from the Division II Student-Athlete Advisory Committee and two at-large members. The at-large positions help ensure diverse representation across the division.
