Merridith Duellman Joly passed on multiple division I scholarships after high school and decided to stay close to home.  The Winona, Minn. native went  on to become a two-time All-American for the Winona State women’s golf team, earning the honor after both the 1993 and 1994 seasons. She earned all-conference honors in each of her four seasons with the Warriors and helped the team to top-6 finishes in both 1993 and 1994 at the NCAA Division II Championship. Merridith graduated with a degree in Cell and Molecular Biology in May 1994 culminating in her Life Science teaching license in 1995.  She has been a high school science teacher since 1995 and has loved her professional experiences.

In 2008, Joly coached Woodbury High School to the Minnesota High School Golf Championship. She also collected  numerous teaching awards and was named the Suburban East Conference Coach of the Year in 2003 and 2008.  Her passion has always been sharing her love of the game of golf with her athletes and students.  As a MN Women’s Golf Association Board Member, Merridith has been able to work with all levels of the game, from juniors to the professional ranks.  Merridith is also an active member of the MN Multiple Sclerosis Society.  

Merridith’s family includes her husband Glenn and son, Gilbert.  Their family resides in Hugo, Minn.
