Neder attended Winona State from 1986-90, earning a bachelor’s degree and completed her master’s degree in education in 1995. Neder played basketball and softball for the Warriors from 1986-1990. She was a four-time All-Conference selection in basketball and was named to the NAIA All-District 13 team in 1987, 1988, 1989 and 1990. Neder ranked second in the league in scoring as a freshman (22.7), third in steals (3.1) and fourth in assists (6.4). As a junior, she led the league in scoring (20.1) and during her senior year, she was first in assists (9.0). She still holds the school’s single-game assists record with 22. On the diamond, Neder was an All-Conference and All-District selection in 1987, 1988 and 1989. During her sophomore season, Neder ranked second in stolen bases (6) and runs (10); as a junior, she ranked first in runs (15), homeruns (2), stolen bases (5); and as a senior, Neder led the league in runs (16), triples (3) and stolen bases (6). After completing her athletic career at Winona State, Neder played on the USA Handball team from 1990-1996. A member of the US Pan American Handball team in 1991, 1995 and 1999, Neder played for the US Olympic Handball team at the 1992 Olympic Summer Games and 1996
Olympic Summer Games. A middle school teacher in Smyrna, Georgia, Neder is currently a member of the USA Rugby team. She played in the Canada Cup in 2004 and is scheduled to play in the World Championships in 2006.
