ABERDEEN, S.D. - Mackenzie Trom's goal at 102:30 in overtime lifted Augustana to a 2-1 victory over Northern State Saturday afternoon. The game marked the first Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference contest for the two teams.

Augustana has now won three-straight games and improves to 3-2 (1-0 NSIC). NSU drops to 3-3 (0-1 NSIC).

This was the first overtime win for Augustana since the Vikings' 4-3 double-overtime win against St. Cloud State on Sept. 11, 2009. Augustana had been winless in 13-straight overtime contests.

Trom contines to lead the team with three goals on the season. 

Stacy Dally found the back of the net first for the Vikings, scoring her first goal of the season at 61:00. Trom passed the ball through NSU's defense to Dally who kicked it under the Wolves' goalkeeper.   

NSU's Renee Gittings found the back of the net in the 84th minute of action to tie the game. Liz Royce fired a corner kick to Gittings who was able to tap the ball into the net.
