FINAL RESULTS

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. - No. 3 Augustana won nine of 10 matches to cruise to a 31-4 Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference victory over Northern State Sunday afternoon.

Augustana improves to 12-2 (4-1 NSIC), while NSU falls to 3-5 (0-4 NSIC).

The Vikings' largest wins of the afternoon came at 133 pounds where Jason Jeremiason got a pin at and 149 pounds where Nate Herda collected a victory by major decision.

Jeremiason opened the dual by pinning NSU's Ian Muirhead in 4 minutes, 41 seconds, and Herda immediately followed with his 14-5 victory over Gavin Larsen.

Marcus Edgington (157), Matt Morris (165), Carl Serck (174), Jayd Docken (184) and Sean Derry (197) each picked up wins by decision to push Augustana's lead to 28-0.

The Wolves picked up their only win of the dual at 285 pounds when Matt Meuleners tagged Taylor Harris with a 13-1 loss by major decision.

Cody Lensing closed the dual by beating Anthony Bruno 5-0.

With the win, the Vikings secured their third straight season with a perfect home NSIC record.

Augustana wrestles at Upper Iowa on Friday.
