Sioux Falls, S.D. - After taking a 5-0 lead into halftime, University of Sioux Falls scored 21 unanswered points to defeat the Bemidji State University football team 21-5 in Sioux Falls, S.D. Saturday. The Beavers (1-3, 1-3 NSIC) were without top quarterback senior quarterback Lance Rongstad (Eleva, Wis.), senior center Brett DeLange (Plainfield, Ill.), left guard Jordan Oien (Clearbrook, Minn.), senior wide receiver Jody Henningson (North Aurora, Ill.) and senior wide receiver/return man Beau Wakefield (Butternut, Wis.). St. Cloud State (2-2) at Wayne State (3-1) - 1 p.m.

Wayne, Neb. - In a tale of two halves, the St. Cloud State Husky football team left Wayne State with a 24-19 Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference (NSIC) win Saturday afternoon in Wayne, Neb.  St. Cloud State improved to 2-2 overall and in the NSIC. Wayne State is 3-1 overall and in league play. The Huskies host Minnesota Duluth next Saturday at Husky Stadium.  The first half belonged to the Husky defense while the second half belonged to the offense. SCSU Recap | WSC Recap

MSU Moorhead (0-4) at #22 Minnesota State (4-0) - 1 p.m.
MSU 24, MSUM 0
Mankato, Minn. - The Minnesota State football squad started the season with three night victories. On Saturday, they proved they are just as good in the daytime. The 22nd-ranked Mavericks ran roughshod over the Minnesota State-Moorhead defense amassing 339 yards on the ground in the 24-0 shutout win over the Dragons in front of 3,837 fans packed inside historic Blakeslee Stadium. Concordia-St. Paul (1-3) at Northern State (1-3) - 1 p.m.

Aberdeen, S.D. - For the second straight time at home, the game came down to one of the final plays of the day. Only this time it was the Wolves who made the big play, blocking a Concordia-St. Paul PAT attempt and escaping with a 24-23 victory over the Golden Bears Saturday afternoon in Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference football action.  The win marks Northern State's first of the season as they improve to 1-3 overall, all in NSIC play. Minot State (0-4) at Upper Iowa (2-2) - 1 p.m.
UIU 26, MISU 20
Fayette, Iowa - Upper Iowa built a 19-7 lead and held off Minot State to win 26-20 in NSIC football Saturday at Harms-Eischeid Stadium.  Minot State pushed into Peacocks' territory on its final seven possessions, but came away with no points on five of those trips. MISU had two drives inside the UIU 10 but couldn't convert as the Beavers turned the ball over on downs in the second quarter and fumbled inside the 10 in the third quarter. UIU Recap | MISU Recap

Southwest Minnesota State (1-3) at Minnesota, Crookston (1-3) - 1 p.m.

Crookston, Minn. - The University of Minnesota, Crookston had endured a NSIC losing streak that spanned 39 games and were depleted by injuries going into today's game with Southwest Minnesota State University. However, the Golden Eagles were not to be denied on their homecoming game as Richard Haley (Sr, RB, Detroit, Mich.) rushed for a career high 238 yard on 34 carries while adding three touchdowns to lead UMC to a 33-28 victory over the Mustangs. It was the first NSIC victory for the Golden Eagles since a 20-16 homecoming victory over Minnesota State University Moorhead on September 27, 2008.   UMC Recap | SMSU Recap

Winona State (3-1) at University of Mary (3-1) - 2:30 p.m. VIDEO HIGHLIGHTS

Bismarck, N.D. - Rayon Simmons ran for 176 yards and four touchdowns to become Winona State's all-time leading rusher in the Warriors' 32-23 victory over the University of Mary Saturday in Bismarck. Entering the game Simmons needed just 47 yards to break the record, a mark he reached just two plays into the second quarter. A ten yard touchdown run from Simmons – already his second of the day – pushed the senior past Kevin Curtin and into the top spot on the program's career rushing list. Augustana (2-2) at #2 Minnesota Duluth (4-0) - 6 p.m.

Duluth, Minn. - No. 2 Minnesota Duluth (4-0, 4-0 NSIC) scored 28 points in the second quarter helping the Bulldogs to a 42-34 win over Augustana (2-2, 2-2 NSIC) in Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference football action on Saturday night in Duluth, Minn.   Minnesota Duluth has now won six consecutive games over Augustana, improving to 7-2 all-time against the Vikings. Augustana outgained Minnesota Duluth in total offense with 409 yards in the game, including 301 through the air. The Vikings scored 28 points in the second half, but it was too little too late as Augustana came up short.  UMD Recap | Augie Recap
