#34 Daniel Jansen

Jansen averaged 29.5 points, 10 rebounds and 3.0 assists while shooting 53.3 percent from the field in two wins last week. He shot 50 %  (6 of 12) from 3-point range and 84 % (21 of 25) from the free throw line as the Vikings improved to 7-0 overall and 1-0 in the NSIC.  Jansen opened the week with 33 points and nine rebounds while matching his career-high with six steals in an NSIC opening win over Wayne State on Monday. Against the Wildcats,  Jansen was 10 of 17 from the field, including 3 of 6 from 3-point range and 10 of 10 from the free throw line as he registered his third career 30-point game. Jansen then registered his second double-double of the season (10th career) scoring 26 points and grabbing 11 rebounds in a win over Valley City State on Wednesday.  In the win, Jansen became the 30th member of the 1,000-point club in Augustana men’s basketball history.

Robinson did a little bit of everything for Minot State as the Beavers moved to 5-1 on the season and 1-0 in the NSIC after a pair of wins last week.  Robinson averaged 15.5 points, 10.5 rebounds, 2.5 assists per game and shot over 70% from the field (12-17) in wins over Dickinson State and the University of Mary. Robinson led the Beavers in rebounding with 14 in the 83-76 nonconference win over Dickinson State. He then assumed the role of scorer as he paced the Beavers with 19 points on 8-of-10 shooting from the field in MISU’s 66-61 win over U-Mary.
