Ervin averaged an NSIC high 29.5 points to go with 5.0 rebounds per game while shooting 69.4 percent from the floor in leading UMD to a pair of victories over Minnesota Crookston & Bemidji State. Ervin netted a season-high 33 points and shot 14-of-19 from the floor including 4-of-4 from beyond the arc as UMD beat Bemidji State 79-66 Saturday. He shot 71.4 percent (5-of-7) from three point range on the week while adding a pair of assists and two steals. Ervin sits just 72 points away from cracking the top-25 all-time at UMD with 1,169 career points.

Monaghan averaged 21.5 points, 6.5 assists and 4.5 rebounds per game as MSU extended its winning streak to seven games with victories over No. 11 Augustana (81-67) and Wayne State (82-62). Monaghan connected on 15-of-29 (.517) shots from the field, including a 7-of-15 (.467) showing from behind the arc. He also went 6-of-6 from the free throw line and tallied five steals. In the win against Augustana, he posted a game-high 29 points while shooting 5-of-10 from behind the arc as he became the 38th member of the MSU 1,000 point club.
