SIOUX FALLS, S.D. — The No. 2 seed University of Mary tennis team (13-3) won its eighth consecutive match as it defeated No. 7 seed University of Sioux Falls (5-6) Saturday morning in the opening round of the Northern Sun Women's Tennis Tournament.
The Marauders have not lost a match since March 8 when they fell to Eckerd College and have not lost to a conference opponent since Feb. 15 when they were defeated by Augustana College.

With the win U-Mary advances to the semifinals of the NSIC Tournament and will face No. 3 seed St. Cloud State University. The Marauders defeated the Huskies at home 5-4 in the regular season.
