ABERDEEN, S.D. - At the end of day one of the Northern Sun Multi Championships, the University of Mary's Molly McDonald leads the women's heptathlon while Minnesota State's Nathan Hancock leads the decathlon.  The events conclude on Monday.

At the completion of four of the seven heptathlon events, McDonald has accumulated 2,894 points. She topped the field with her efforts in the 100 meter hurdles and the high jump and was third in the 200 meter dash.

After five events, Hancock totaled 3652 points as he won the 100 meter dash, the 400 meter dash, the high jump, the long jump and finishing second in the shot put.
