NSIC Men’s Cross Country Athlete of the Week
Jase Kraft (Sophomore, Wessington Springs, S.D. / Wessington Springs HS) - Sioux Falls
- Clocked a 25:06.19 to grab ninth place in the 8K MSSU Stampede
- Led the Cougars to ninth place finish at the Missouri Southern Stampede in Joplin, Missouri
- Second NSIC Athlete of the Week honor (9/9/15)

NSIC Men's Cross Country Team Notes
Augustana
- The Vikings were idle last week
- Augie’s next action will be at the Roy Griak Invitational on Sept. 26 in Falcon Heights, Minnesota

Concordia-St. Paul
- CSP was idle last week
- The Golden Bears will next compete at the Roy Griak Invitational on Sept. 26 in Falcon Heights, Minnesota

University of Mary
- The Marauders were idle last week
- The Marauders will next compete at the Roy Griak Invitational on Sept. 26 in Falcon Heights, Minnesota

Minnesota Duluth
- UMD finished seventh at the St. Olaf Invitational in Northfield, Minnesota
- Blake Anderson completed the 8K race in 26:19.9, good for 24th overall in the 308-runner field
- Anderson was the top NSIC finisher at the event
- UMD’s next action will be at the Roy Griak Invitational on Sept. 26 in Falcon Heights, Minnesota

Minnesota State
- MSU turned in a ninth-place finish at the 8K St. Olaf Invitational held in Northfield, Minnesota
- Sohomore Derek Cruz (26:46.6), who finished 37th, was the top Minnesota State individual
- MSU’s next action will be at the Roy Griak Invitational on Sept. 26 in Falcon Heights, Minnesota

MSU Moorhead
- The Dragons were idle last week
- MSUM will next compete at the Roy Griak Invitational on Sept. 26 in Falcon Heights, Minnesota

Minot State
- The Beavers were idle last week
- Minot State will next compete at the Roy Griak Invitational on Sept. 26 in Falcon Heights, Minnesota

Northern State
-    The Wolves were idle last week
-    NSU will compete at the Roy Griak Invitational on Sept. 26 in Falcon Heights, Minnesota
-    NSU will also host their annual Steps for Shep Gypsy Days race on September 26th

Sioux Falls
- The Cougars finished ninth at the Missouri Southern Stampede in Joplin, Missouri
- Jase Kraft clocked a 25:06.19 to grab ninth place in the 8K race
- Matt Horan was 12th with a time of 25:09.27
- Next for the Cougars will be the Briar Cliff Invitational on Oct. 10 in McCook Lake, South Dakota

Southwest Minnesota State
- Evan Bonneson (So., Cottage Grove, Minn. / Park HS) placed 44th out of 308 runners at the St. Olaf Invite
- Bonneson ran a time of 27:00 in the 8K race
- SMSU finished 14th out of 20 teams at the meet
- SMSU will next compete at the Roy Griak Invitational on Sept. 26 in Falcon Heights, Minnesota
 
St. Cloud State
- SCSU competed at the St. Olaf Invitational on Saturday, Sept. 19
- The Huskies placed 13th of the 20 programs that competed
- Chris Caron was the top finisher for the Huskies with a time of 26:41.8 to place 34th in the 8K race
- SCSU will next compete at the Roy Griak Invitational on Sept. 26 in Falcon Heights, Minnesota

Wayne State
- The Wildcats were idle last week
- WSC will compete at the Roy Griak Invitational on Sept. 26 in Falcon Heights, Minnesota

Winona State
- The Warriors were idle last week
- The Warriors will compete at the Roy Griak Invitational on Sept. 26 in Falcon Heights, Minnesota
