NSIC Women’s Outdoor Track Athlete of the Year
Breanna Colbenson (Distance, Jr., Elmwood, Wis. / Spring Valley HS) - Minnesota Duluth
- Won the 10000 meter run (35.24.55) and the 3000 meter steeplechase (10:29.78) in NCAA provisional times at the NSIC Championships
- Ranks fourth in the nation and automatically qualified for the NCAA Championships in the steeplechase after posting a time of 10:21.11 earlier this season
- Ranks 11th in the nation in the 5000m and 16th in the 10000m and has provisional qualified for nationals in both
- Also provisionally qualified for nationals in the 1500m run with a time of 4:31.90
- Named NSIC Athlete of the Week twice during the season
- Won the steeplechase in a school record time and placed second in the 5000m with a school record time at the Drake Relays
NSIC Women’s Outdoor Field Athlete of the Year
Bree Woelber (Jumps/Hurdles, Sr., Pipestone, Minn. / Pipestone Area HS / Iowa State) - Augustana
- Earned high point performer at NSIC Championships, scoring 32 points
- Set an NSIC and Augustana record in winning the NSIC Heptathlon with 5111 points
- Won the javelin at the NSIC Championships with a throw of 136-03
- Placed third in the high jump, fifth in long jump and seventh in the 100m hurdles
- Has provisionally qualified for the NCAA Championships in the heptathlon, long jump. high jump and javelin
NSIC Women’s Outdoor Track & Field Newcomer of the Year
Olivia Montez Brown (Jumps/Multis, Fr., Great Sutton, U.K. / Ellesmere Port Catholic HS) - Augustana
- Won the long jump at the NSIC Championship with a leap of 18-10.75
- Placed second in the NSIC Heptathlon with 4951 points
- Earned a sixth place finish in the triple jump at the NSIC Championships to finish with 21 points
- Has provisionally qualified for the NCAA Championships in both the long jump and the heptathlon
- Also named NSIC Indoor Track & Field Newcomer of the Year earlier this season
NSIC Women’s Outdoor Track & Field Coach of the Year
Jen Blue - Minnesota State
- Earned her first NSIC Coach of the Year honor for outdoor track after being named NSIC Indoor Coach of the Year earlier this season
- Coached 17 All-Conference performers during outdoor season
- Coached the Mavericks to their second NSIC Outdoor Championship, the first since 1983
All-Conference performers consist of the top three place winners in each event and the members of the top two relay teams from the Conference meet.
