- Averaged a double-double for the week at 20.5 points and 12.0 rebounds per game in helping Dragons to a pair of home wins
- Posted 22 points, 15 rebounds and two blocks in 75-64 win over No. 11 Augustana
- Scored 19 points and grabbed nine rebounds in 86-84 overtime win over Wayne State
- Shot 53.8 percent (14-of-26) from the field
- Shot 83.3 percent (10-of-12) from the foul line
- Averaged 20.5 points, 12.0 rebounds, 2.0 assists, 1.0 block for the weekend

#12 Kaely Hummel (G, 5-8, So., Cherokee, Iowa / Washington HS)

- Averaged 21.0 points, 5.5 rebounds, 4.5 assists, 1.5 steals for the weekend
- Led the Cougars in scoring with 21 points per game and set or tied three career-high marks this weekend
- Scored a career-best 29 points to lead USF over Minnesota Crookston
- Surpassed 20 points for the sixth time this season and seventh time in her career
- Grabbed a career-best eight rebounds against UMC, finishing the weekend with 11
- Hit four 3-pointers and handed out three assists against the Golden Eagles
- Opened the weekend with 13 points against Bemidji State
- Has scored in double figures all 16 games this season and is averaging 16.9 points per game

- BSU shot 28.3 percent from the floor, 15.4 percent from beyond the arc and 70.0 percent from the free throw line and won the rebound battle, 46-35
- Southwest Minnesota State put Bemidji State in another hole early after leading BSU, 23-14, after the first quarter
- Bemidji State shot 35.4 percent from the floor, 39.3 percent from long range and 68.4 percent from the charity stripe and allowed 52 points in the paint for SMSU
- On the weekend, BSU shot 32.0 percent from the floor, 31.7 percent from 3-point range and 69.0 percent from the free throw line while also averaging 41.5 rebounds per game

- Freshman guard Brooklyn Bachmann led BSU in scoring for the seventh and eighth times this season and recorded her fifth career game with at least 20 points Saturday at SMSU
- Bachmann finished the weekend with 17.5 points per game on 44.4 percent shooting from the field and 50.0 percent from beyond the arc
- Senior center Sierra Senske recorded 10.5 points per game on 50.0 percent shooting and tied for the team lead with 6.0 rebounds per game

- The Golden Bears travelled to North Dakota over the weekend to face U-Mary and Minot State, falling to U-Mary by eight and Minot by 17.
- The Bears shot a solid 44.8% from the field against Mary, but the Marauders capitalized on ten more points from the free-throw line (18-8) to secure the win. The following day, CSP ran into a hot shooting Minot State squad, who connected on 49.2% of their field goals, including 58.8% of their three point attempts
- Concordia will close out January with five straight home games
Top Performer(s)
- Junior Anna Schmitt scored a game-high 28 points against U-Mary, scoring 14 of her team’s 16 points in the fourth quarter to help spark a comeback effort. The 5-7 guard also led the Bears the following day, scoring 15 points, while also tallying five rebounds and three assists.
- Junior Lindsay Dorr chipped in on both ends of the court against Minot State, scoring 11 points, securing seven rebounds, and registering a career-high four steals.
- Freshman Ayla Lemke scored a career-high 11 points against Minot State, draining three out of her four three-point attempts.

- The Marauders completed their first weekend sweep of the Northern Sun season with wins over Concordia-St. Paul and Minnesota State
- The two wins propelled the Marauders up three spots in the NSIC North division standings, jumping from eighth place to fifth
- The 90 points scored was the most for the Marauders in an NSIC game since a 98-92 loss at MSU Moorhead on February 4, 2012. It was the most points scored by the Marauders in an NSIC win since defeating Augustana 99-94 on February 12, 2011.
- The Marauders next face Minnesota Crookston and Bemidji State, the only two teams UMary has not yet faced in the NSIC North
- Sr. G Dani Williams is the 24th UMary player to score over 900 points in her Marauders career. Her current total of 948 is 20th all-time in school history

- So. C Gabbie Bohl averaged 18.5 ppg and 8.0 rpg while shooting 55.6 percent from the floor (15-of-27) and making 7-of-10 free throws in a weekend sweep over Concordia-St. Paul and Minnesota State
- Bohl scored a team-high 17 points and grabbed nine rebounds in a 74-66 win over the Golden Bears, making 5-of-8 field goals and 7-of-9 free throws
- She scored 20 points and seven rebounds in the 90-84 overtime win against the Mavericks while making 10-of-19 shots and adding two steals
- Ranks 3rd in the NSIC in scoring (17.3 ppg), 8th in field goal percentage (.514), 10th in rebounding (6.7 rpg) and 11th in blocks (1.2/game)

- The Golden Eagles picked up their third win of the season Friday with a 65-61 victory over Southwest Minnesota State. Gruber led the team with 19 points, while Micaela Noga notched 13 points
- The Golden Eagles are third in the NSIC in free throw percentage at 78.3 percent. Minnesota Crookston is sixth in blocked shots with 3.8 per game

- Emily Gruber had her best weekend of the season with 17.5 points and 9.0 rebounds per game
- Abby Guidinger had her breakout weekend with 14.0 points, 5.5 rebounds and 3.5 assists per game

- Sarah Grow posted a career high 21 points in the win at Winona State. Grow had 12.5 points, 7.5 rebounds and 1.0 block per game for the week
- Ann Simonet had four three-pointers and put up 11 points per game
- Sammy Kozlowski (5) and Taylor Schneider (6) nabbed career highs in steals against the Peacocks
- Allison Olley registered eight offensive rebounds and averaged 5.5 rebounds over the two games

- Senior Claire Jordan averaged 13.5 points for the Mavericks. She matched a career-best 16 points and shot 57.1% (5-7) from the field against U-Mary
- Senior Claire Ziegler averaged 12.0 points, team-best 7.0 rebounds, five steals, and three blocks to round out the top performers

- Minot State shot 42.9 percent from the field, including 40 percent from three-point range on the weekend while assisting on 31 of 52 field goals.
- The Beaver defense notched 17 steals on the weekend and forced the Mavericks and Golden Bears to commit 29 combined turnovers.

- Diondra Denton averaged 12 points, 5 rebounds and 2.5 steals on the weekend while shooting 9-13 from the field and 6-6 from three-point range to score 24 points vs. CSP.
- Kristal Flowers posted her fifth double-double of the season after scoring 12 points and grabbing 12 rebounds in 71-54 win vs. CSP.

- They averaged 72.5 points and 40.5 rebounds, while recording 39 assists, 16 steals, and three blocks
- Four Wolves finished the weekend in double-figures, while five shot 50.0 percent or better from the floor

- Miranda Ristau led the team averaging 19.0 points and 8.0 rebounds per game, while shooting 58.6 percent from the floor
- Haley Froelich averaged 11.5 points per game and hit a team leading three made 3-pointers

- Assisted on 35 of their 55 field goals this weekend and their 20 assists against UMC tied a season-high in NSIC games

- Kaely Hummel led the Cougars in scoring with 21 points per game, including a career-best 29 against Minnesota Crookston
- Hummel hit four 3-pointers and grabbed a career-best eight rebounds to lead the Cougars to their 17-point win over UMC
- Jacey Huinker stuffed the stat sheet, averaging 7.5 points, 11 rebounds and 5.0 assists in the two victories
- Mariah Szymanski led the Cougars with 19 points against Bemidji State and she scored 12 or more in both games
- Szymanski went 8-for-13 from behind the arc, a 61.5 percent three-point field goal percentage

- The Mustangs eclipsed their win total from last season with Saturday's win over Bemidji State
- SMSU outrebounded UMC 49-41with 20 offensive rebounds as a team
- The Mustangs outscored Bemidji State 52-22 in points in the paint and led almost the entire way in Saturday's win
- SMSU had six blocks on the defensive end against the Beavers and held BSU to just 35 percent shooting as a team

- Caleigh Rodning led the Mustangs in scoring in both games over the weekend with a career high 26 points against the Beavers
