NSIC Women's Swimmer of the Week
Ella Johnson (So., Southport, England) - Sioux Falls
- Won three individual events and four total as USF won 174-114 win over DI Nebraska-Omaha
- Captured the 200 free in her best time of the year of 1:55.25 which ranks 36th in DII
- Won the 200 fly in 2:06.63 which ranks 12th in DII this year
- Captured 100 fly in 56.32 with the eighth best time in DII
- Swam on the winning 400 medley relay which clocked in at 3:54.23
- Ranks in the top seven in three individual events in DII
- Named NSIC Swimmer of the Week for the second time this season (10/8/19)
NSIC Women's Diver of the Week
Rebekah Stone (Sr., Foley, Minn. / Foley HS) -
St. Cloud State
- Charted a first place finish in the 1M diving event at a dual meet against UW-Eau Claire
- Placed third in the 3M diving competition at the UW-Eau Claire dual
- In the 1M diving, posted a NCAA qualifying mark of 267.35
- In the 3M diving, placed third with another NCAA qualifying mark of 266.15
- Helped SCSU gain a 230-70 dual meet win at UW-Eau Claire on Nov. 8-9
Other Top Swimming Performances
Taylor Beagle (AUGIE) placed first in the 200-yard IM with a time of 2:15.07 at the Morningside Invite. Helped the Vikings place first place with 751 points. Beagle also placed third with a time of 2:00.27 in the 200-yard freestyle.
MacKenzie Kallevig (SMSU) had a big two days in two meets at Morningside College. On Friday at the Morningside Stampede Quad, she had a pair of first place finishes, including a time of 25.55 in the 50 yard freestyle and a 54.84 finish in the 100 yard freestyle. She was also a part of SMSU's 400-yard medley relay team that set a pool record of 4:10.93. On Saturday at the Morningside Invite, she paced the Mustangs with a first place finish out of 32 competitors in the 100 yard freestyle with a time of 54.94. She also won the 200 yard freestyle with a pool record time of 1:59.14, while also picking up a second place finish out of 22 in the 50 yard freestyle with a time of 25.44.
Marialuisa Avila (NSU) helped her 400-medley team to a second-place finish with a final team time of 4:22.21; Recorded a season-best in the 50 free with a time of 25.76, taking first by .40 seconds; Notched first in the 100 fly by 3.29 seconds for her second first-place finish of the dual.
