ST. CLOUD, Minn. – Minot State senior Darrel Doll launched a pair of two-run home runs and No. 4 Minot State notched a 12-4 victory over No. 5 Wayne State in the first round of the 2019 Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference Baseball Tournament on Thursday afternoon in St. Cloud, Minn.

- The Beaver loaded the bases without recording a hit before Wyatt Schlosser drew a walk to bring home Trevaun Smith and tie the game at one.
- Celestino Rodriguez followed with a sacrifice fly to left, sending Michael Borst home to hand the Beavers a 2-1 lead after the first.
- An RBI groundout by Travis Miller the Wildcats tied the game at two in the second.
- Darrel Doll blasted a two-run homer to right to give the Beavers a 4-2 lead in the third.
- After a scoreless fourth inning, Wayne State cut the deficit in half with a run in the fifth inning via an RBI double by Bryce Bisenius.
- Schlosser and Mason Gifford drew a walk with the bases loaded while Ryley Humrighouse picked up an RBI on a fielder's choice in a three-run inning to give the Beavers a 7-3 advantage after five innings.
- Borst began a five-run eighth inning with an RBI single before Doll launched his second two-run home run of the game.
- Humrighouse capped the scoring for the Beavers with a two-RBI single, scoring Schlosser and Jake Collins.
