NSIC Men's Cross Country Athlete of the Week
Mason Phillips (Sr., Bailey, Colo. / Platte Canyon HS)
Sioux Falls

- The NSIC Preseason Men's Athlete of the Year clocked 18:55.89 in the four-mile course at the Augustana Twilight
- Finished first among DII runners (second overall) for the third straight year at the Augustana Twilight
- Was one of three USF runners in the top 25 including senior Steven Brown, who was sixth
- Helped USF to a fourth place finish with 129 points


Other Top Performances
Nadir Yusuf  (MSUM) won the Fred Dahnke Twilight for a second straight year, and helped MSUM men win the event for fifth straight time; ran a 6K time of 18:38; the win is the second of his collegiate cross country career; helped MSUM to two point win over UMary (35-33).
 
Jonathan Tostenson  (UMD) paced the Bulldogs finishing 15th in the 4-mile run at the Oz Memorial hosted by Minnesota with a career-best time of 21:40.0.
