LEXINGTON, Ky. – The American Volleyball Coaches Association released their weekly awards and Concordia-St. Paul freshman Jasmine Mulvihill was named their Sports Imports/AVCA Division II Player of the Week.
Mulvihill earned Colorado Premier Challenge All-Tournament Team honors as she helped the Golden Bears to a perfect 4-0 record over the weekend to claim their seventh tourney crown. The freshman reached 3.67 kills per set in the four matches, reaching double figures in kills in each. She also recorded five blocks in two different matches en route to averaging 1.00 per set overall. Her best performance came in a semifinal matchup with Regis as she compiling 17 kills on just 30 swings for a .500 hitting percentage to go along with three digs and two blocks.
This is the 20th Sports Imports/AVCA Player of the Week in program history, and the first since Anna Schlaak took home the honor on October 11, 2016.
