NSIC Player of the Week
#11 Jen Martin (C/IF, Jr., R/R, Homer Glen, Ill. / Lockport Township HS) - Northern State

- Had six hits in 13 at bats in four wins versus Black Hills State for a .462 batting averaging
- Had a 1.192 on-base plus slugging percentage with a .692 slugging percentage
- Recorded seven RBI and added two runs scored
- Notched three doubles and one walk with nine total bases

NSIC Pitcher of the Week
#26 Ashley Mickschl (RHP, 5-7, Jr., Woodbury, Minn. / Woodbury HS) - Augustana

- Started three games for the Vikings at the Arkansas Tech Winter Invitational, going 3-0 with two complete games and one shutout
- Picked up wins over No. 15 Cameron and a complete-game shutout victory over No. 10 Texas A&M-Commerce
- Allowed just 17 hits and eight earned runs in 24 innings for a 3.00 ERA
- Racked up 19 strikeouts against just 3 walks
- Helped the No. 1 Vikings to a 4-2 overall record

#18 Abbie  Lund (AUGIE)
played and started in all six games at the Arkansas Tech Winter Invitational, leading the Vikings with 10 hits and a .526 average; Had a team-best .632 slugging percentage and a .571 on-base percentage; Collected one triple and three RBIs over the six games.
#22 Lauren  Oberle (UMD) went 10-for-21 at the plate with a .476 batting average; Tied for NSIC lead in at-bats at 21; Hit one home run with three RBIs and a .810 slugging percentage; Was 4-of-4 on stolen base attempts.
#3 Lexie  Swift (USF) hit .421 with 8 hits in 19 at bats with three RBI and four runs scored. She had nine total bases and slugged .474 with .450 OBP. Twice in four games, she collected three hits and has six career three hit or better games. Her offensive prowess helped USF earn wins on a weekend when the Cougars hit .348 as a team and had double-digit hits in the final three games of the four-game road swing (17, 15, 10).

#4 Meghan  Anderson (NSU) recorded two wins in the first two starts of her career; Recorded a 1.00 ERA through 14.0 innings pitched; Tallied 15 strikeouts, including a career high ten in the season opener; Held her opponents to a .192 batting average; Notched a complete game shut-out in the Wolves 3-0 victory over Black Hills.
