NSIC Player of the Week
#1 Jordan  Barth (IF, 6-1, 200, Jr., R/R, Cold Spring, Minn. / ROCORI HS) - Augustana
- Went 8-for-12 with five runs scored, seven RBIs, one homer, one double, one walk and two stolen bases
- Was 4-for-4 with four RBI in game three as the Vikings swept Southwest Baptist
-  Is  now on an 11-game hitting streak and is hitting .477 on the season with five doubles, an OBP of .489 and slugging percentage of .659

NSIC Pitcher of the Week
#22 John  Bezdicek (RHP, 6-3, 200, Jr., R/L, Plymouth, Minn. / Osseo HS) - SMSU
- Was dominate in a 3-2 SMSU victory over Minnesota Duluth last Thursday at US Bank Stadium
- Tossed six shutout innings, while tying a career-high with 14 strikeouts
- Allowed just four hits, while tossing 88 pitches with 66 for strikes
- Did not have a three-ball count in any of the 22 batters he faced in earning the no-decision
- Has 21 strikeouts and one walk with a 1.64 ERA this season

#21 Mason  Ruhlman (UMC) hit .500 for the week with nine runs scored and 11 RBIs...Ruhlman had seven RBIs with two home runs and two runs scored in a win over Florida Tech...Went 3-of-3 in a win over Gannon...Hit two home runs over the week...Scored three runs and two RBIs in win over Gannon...Went 3-of-4 against Florida Tech and 3-of-4 versus Rockhurst
#6 Trevaun Smith (MINOT) put together two hits in six trips to the plate while adding a double and two RBIs. Collected four hits, but Minot State fell to Colorado Mesa 17-11 in the series finale Sunday; Compiled a four-hit day for the Beavers; contributed three extra-base knocks; drove in seven runs; stole three bases in Sunday's game; led the Beavers at the plate, going 4-for-5 with two doubles, a home run and seven RBIs.
#23 Drew  Bulson (SCSU) notched a .364 batting average during four games last week for the Huskies in games played at U.S. Bank Stadium. The Huskies went 3-1 in those games with a pair of wins over Northern State and a split with Concordia-St. Paul. - On the week, Bulson had four hits, two runs, one double, one home run and eight RBIs for the Huskies. He charted a .727 slugging percentage with eight total bases and two walks to his credit. On defense, Bulson had 30 putouts and three assists. - He opened the week in game one of the twinbill vs. Northern State with two hits and three RBIs. - In the first game vs. CSP, Bulson had one hit and two RBIs and then finished in game two with three run homer to pace SCSU on offense.
#26 Jack  Thode (UIU) went 3-7 (.428) on the weekend with a double and a home run. Thode also registered four RBI and scored twice while not committing a single error during his two starts in left field against Missouri University of Science and Technology.
 
Other Top Performances - Pitcher
#28 Seth  Miller (AUGIE) dominated in Augustana's game two win over Southwest Baptist. The sophomore tossed seven innings of shutout baseball striking out eight while surrendering only five hits and one walk. Miller is now 1-0 on the season with a 3.45 ERA in 15.2 innings pitched.
#17 Conner Richardson  (UMC) gave up one earned run over 12 innings against Point Park and Gannon...Earned wins in both games...Had an ERA of 0.75 over the two games...Richardson struck out three and walked three...Threw a one-hit shutout over six innings against Gannon...Gave up just nine hits over the two games.
#12 Matt  Osterberg (SCSU) led the Huskies to a 9-0 complete game shutout win over Northern State on Feb. 25 at U.S. Bank Stadium in Minneapolis; pitched all seven innings in the victory for the Huskies; allowed no runs, only three hits and chalked up eight strikeouts to win his first game of the season; SCSU currently owns a 6-2 overall record this season.
