NSIC Men's Track Athlete of the Week
Terry Towah (Sprints, Fr., Arden Hills, Minn. / Mounds View HS)
Northern State
- Broke the Northern State 200m record as the top Division II finisher at the SDSU Jim Emmerich Invite with a time of 22.03
- Added a second place finish in the 60m dash with a time of 6.93
- Ranks first in the NSIC in both the 60m and 200m events
- Ranks 15th in the 200 and 21st in the 60m in Division II

NSIC Men's Field Athlete of the Week
Tanner Berg (Throws, Sr., Watertown, S.D. / Watertown HS)
Northern State

- Won his third straight weight throw title as he took first place at the SDSU Jim Emmerich Invite
- Broke his own school record, throwing 71-6.25 (21.80m), which is an NCAA automatic qualifying mark
- Added an eighth place finish in the shot put (16.46m) and sits atop the NSIC standings in both events 
- Earned NSIC Field Athlete of the Week for the second consecutive week

Other Top Track Performances
Austin Miller (AUGIE) ran the mile this weekend at the Jim Emmerich Invite. His time of 4:12.69 was good enough to take down the field and currently sits last year’s NSIC 800m winner at the top of the NSIC in the event this season.
Jesse Kaas (UMary) set a University of Mary Fieldhouse & Wellness Center facility record for a second straight week. He won the 5000 meter run in a time of 15:04.70. He ranks first in the NSIC and is 21st in Division II with a converted time of 14:55.11. He set the facility record for the mile the previous week.  
Nicholas Sharma (MSU) finished first in the 60m dash in the Chuck Petersen Dual and recorded a time of 7.01 in the event.
Nadir Yusuf (MSUM) won mile at the Marauder Invite with a time of 4:19.23 which is third best in NSIC this season. He also finished second in the 800m run in 2:00.67 which is third-fastest time in NSIC this season.
Chase Tandy (MINOT) finished second in the 400m with time of 50.53.  That time was the 10th-fastest in Division II this weekend and the 4th-fastest time in the Minot State D2 Era (50.53).

Other Top Field Performances
Tyl Woelber (AUGIE), the NSIC Preseason Field Athlete of the Year, hit season-bests in all three events he competed in this weekend at the Jim Emmerich Invite at SDSU. Those events included the high jump, long jump, and 60m hurdles. His 6-07.50 won the high jump, and placed third in the long Jump and fourth in the 60m hurdles.
Dillan Kovash (UMary) broke the University of Mary Fieldhouse & Wellness Center facility record in the pole vault as he cleared 4.35 meters to win the event. He ranks third this season in the NSIC.
Deveyonn Brown (MSU) recorded a leap of 6-8.75 (2.05m) to win the high jump and achieve a national provisional mark. He is tied for the sixth best jump in DII this season.
Shyrone Kemp (MSUM) won the triple jump at Marauder Invite recording a school record tying leap of 49-9.25. The jump is third-best in Division II this season and ranks first in the NSIC this season. He also took second in long jump at 22-6.25.
Cade Kalkowski (WSC) won weight throw at USD Dakota Realty Invite with a NCAA provisional mark of 67-11.5. He now ranks third in NCAA Division II and has two first place finishes in weight throw in the first two meets of the year.
