NSIC Women's Swimmer of the Week
Inte Pas (Fr., Nieuwerkerk aan den IJ, Netherlands / Emmaus Collège Rotten) - Sioux Falls
- Helped the Cougars to a 1-1 record with four event wins in duals versus
Jamestown and MSU
- Improved her already highly ranked time in the 100-yard breaststroke as she finished with a time of 1:04.50
- Her 100-yard breaststroke was under a half second from reaching NCAA B Standard time of 1:04.08
- Her new mark in this event ranks fourth in NCAA Division II this year
- She also won the 200-breast (2:23.63) and the 200 IM (2:14.05)
- Was also part of the USF 400-yard Medley Relay which set a pool record of 3:58.52
NSIC Women's Diver of the Week
Sydney Hanson (Diving, Fr., Bettendorf, Iowa / Bettendorf HS) - Minnesota State
- Won the 1-meter diving event vs. Sioux Falls and Jamestown with a score of 240.15
- Won the 3-meter diving event vs. Sioux Falls and Jamestown with a score of 237.65
- Named NSIC Diver of the Week for the second week in a row
Other Top Swimming Performances
Taylor Beagle (Augie) won two events over two days at the Quad Invite last weekend in Grand Junction, Colorado. On Friday, she won the 1650-Free in a time of 17:46.20 winning by over 20 seconds. She would return on Friday to place second in the 500-Free in 5:14.04. On Saturday, Beagle would go on to win the 1000-Free in a time of 10:41.70.
Farida Maher (CSP) led the way at the Hamline University Invite with 27 individual points backed by three first place finishes. She won the 200 yard freestyle (2:00.41), the 100 yard freestyle (54.83) and the 500 yard freestyle (5:28.48).
Kate Flynn (MSU) won the 100 freestyle with a time of 54.12 against Sioux Falls and Jamestown. She took second in the 50 freestyle with a time of 24.90. She was a member of the 200 freestyle relay team that finished first with a time of 1:38.71.
Natalie Bohnert (SMSU) won a pair of individual events and was also a member of a first-place relay team. She won the 200-yard IM at 2:14.15 and won the 100-yard butterfly at 1:01.08.
Other Top Diving Performances
Sarah McDonald (SMSU) finished second in the 1-meter diving with a score of 166.05 and was also second in the 3-meter with a total of 186.15.
