NSIC Offensive Player of the Week
#11 Sofia Lewis (F, 5-6, R-Sr.. Jacksonville, Fla. / Minot HS) - Minot State
- Scored both game-winning goals against WSU and UIU
- Tallied three of the Beavers four goals on the weekend for six points
- Helped stretch Minot State’s win streak to seven straight and improve to 6-0 in NSIC play
- Remains the Minot State all-time leading scorer with 49 career goals
- Her 34 career goals in NSIC play ranks her fourth all-time (10 from the all-time mark of 44)

#26 Cassidy Pierce (D, 5-5, Sr., Missoula, Mont. / Big Sky HS) - UMary
- Spearheaded a Marauders defense that hasn’t allowed a goal for over five matches
- Help the Marauders hold Upper Iowa and Winona State to a combined 10 shots (four on net)
- WSU had five total shots with one on frame
- UIU had five shots with three on target
- Had the assist in overtime of the Marauders 1-0 win over Winona State
- Named NSIC Defensive Player of the Week for the second week in a row
NSIC Goalkeeper of the Week
#1 Maddie Kindred (GK, 5-10, R-Jr., Soldotna, Alaska / Soldotna HS) - Minot State
- Turned in her second two-shutout weekend of the season
- Made seven saves in a 1-0 win Friday against Winona State
- Stopped all four shots she faced Sunday in a 3-0 victory over Upper Iowa
- Has four shutouts on the season
- Has not allowed a goal in the 203:46 minutes of action
- Named NSIC Goalkeeper of the Week for the second time this season (9/20/21)

OFFENSE
#36 Alexis Legg (AUGIE) tallied six points on two goals and two assists in the Vikings record-breaking win at Minnesota Crookston. She tallied what is marked as the game winner in the first minute of action. She then assisted on goals No. 2 and 4 before tallying her second goal of the game in the 29th minute to give AU the 5-0 lead. She recorded four shots, placing two of them on frame. Her six points tie her for the best single game in the NSIC this season. Augustana set a goals scored record in the contest with nine while setting a school record for shots with 64.
#19 Annika Fingal (BSU) logged the first three points of her collegiate career Sunday to lead the Beavers to a 4-1 victory over Wayne State and extend BSU’s unbeaten streak to 13 matches. Fingal’s first goal as a Beaver came from distance and stood as the game-winner. She added her first collegiate assist setting up Sara Wendt’s team-leading 11th goal of the season. Played in both games of the weekend, including one start.
#23 Maureen Sullivan (UMary) came off the bench to spark the Marauders to a 2-0 win over Upper Iowa. She scored the game-winning goal in the 60th minute and then followed that up with an assist to seal the win.
#4 Jenny Vetter (MSU) scored the Mavericks’ game-winning goal in the 79th minute of a match on the road vs. MSU Moorhead. The Mavericks won the match 1-0. Led MSU over the weekend with nine shot attempts and four shots on goal.
#24 Megan Fastenau (NSU) recorded her first career hat-trick in a 3-2 victory over Concordia-St. Paul, becoming the first NSU player with a hat-trick since 2016.
#24 Alex Lotts (SMSU) picked up a pair of assists in a 2-1 victory over UMD. She also added a pair of shots on goal on three total shots in the victory.
#7 Missy Greco (WSU) led the Warriors in shots over the course of two NSIC road games for the Warriors. She tallied a game-high four shots against Minot State. She put three of her four shots on goal vs. the Beavers. She had a shot in vs. UMary, while logging 62 minutes in a OT contest.
DEFENSE
#32 Mackenzie Ternes (AUGIE) scored a goal in the Vikings’ record-breaking contest at Minnesota Crookston. She scored in the 54th minute and tallied six shots as the Vikings set a new school record for shots attempted. Her goal was one of nine on the day, also a school record.
#23 Olivia Thoen (MSU) competed in all 180 minutes of action last weekend in a pair of shutout victories for the Mavericks over MSU Moorhead, 1-0, and Northern State, 2-0.She had one assist in MSU’s 2-0 victory over NSU.
#30 Shaye Taylor (MINOT) anchored the Beavers defense in a pair of shutout wins over the weekend as Minot State limited their foes to 11 total shots on goal in 180 minutes of action, with Taylor playing all 180 minutes for the Beavers.
#3 Hayleigh Young (SMSU) played all 200 minutes in two games to help anchor the defense in a 1-0-1 weekend. She held St. Cloud State to just five shots on goal on 23 total shots in a scoreless tie. She limited the Minnesota Duluth attack to five shots on goal in a 2-1 victory.
#27 Bailey Deininger (WSU) returned from injury to anchor the Warrior backline, playing every minute of both contests this past weekend, including an overtime affair in the second match. She logged 184 total minutes of play as she was a key part of WSU defense that held league leading Minot to just five shots on goal. She led the Warrior backline in conceding just three shots on goal to UMary.
GOALKEEPER
#1 Alyssa Stumbaugh (BSU) improved to 6-0-0 on the season with a pair of victories. She totaled five saves in a 2-0 victory over Augustana Friday en route to her second shutout of the season and third of her career. She held Wayne State without a goal in 53:45 of play Sunday and gained the win before being replaced by Georgiana Harber. Her four goals allowed in six games played its tied for first in the NSIC, while her .708 goals against average ranks second.
#1 Madisyn Waltman (UMary) backstopped the Marauders to two more shutout wins, their fifth straight. She made three saves against the Peacocks and one against the Warriors. She sits second all-time in shutouts at UMary with 23.
#33 Clare Longueville (MSU) earned her second collegiate clean sheet in the Mavericks’ 2-0 victory over Northern State, Sunday. Made a total of four saves in the match while playing all 90 minutes.
#00 Alexus Townsend (NSU) totaled six saves against Concordia-St. Paul and five against Minnesota State, while playing the full 90 minutes in both matches.
#1 Meghan Harkin (SMSU) recorded nine saves on ten shots and a shutout in a 1-0-1 weekend to lead the Mustangs. She made a spectacular save on a PK in the 75th minute to help defeat UMD 2-1. She sent away all five shots she faced en route to a shutout in a 0-0 tie with St. Cloud State.
