NSIC Women's Swimmer of the Week
Inte Pas (Fr., Nieuwerkerk aan den IJ, Netherlands / Emmaus Collège Rotten) - Sioux Falls
- Won the 100 breast (1:05.11) and 200 breast (2:21.79) at the Coyote Extravaganza
- Both marks rank in the top 10 nationally and at the top of the NSIC
- Was part of the second-place 400 medley relay which clocked a 3:54.61, the top mark in the NSIC
- Was on the third-place 200 medley relay which clocked in at 1:49.72 and is third in the NSIC this year
- Named NSIC Swimmer of the Week for the second time this season (10/26/21)
NSIC Women's Diver of the Week
Meredith Matchinsky (Dive, Jr., St. Cloud, Minn. / St. Cloud Tech HS) - St. Cloud State
- Won the 3-meter dive on day one of the
Coyote Extravaganza
- Was the top Division II finisher in the 1-meter dive, second overall, on day two of the
Coyote Extravaganza
- Recorded a score of 243.15 in the 3-meter dive and 245.70 in the 1-meter dive
Other Top Swimming Performances
Taylor Beagle (AUGIE) won three events en route to defeating Northern State 192-70. She started the meet winning the 200-Free in a time of 1:56.88, two seconds faster than the second-place finisher. Beagle returned to the pool winning the 500-Free in 5:10.04 winning by more than 15 seconds. Beagle rounded out her day leading off the 800-free relay which won in a time of 8:05.34.
Andrea Lee (UMary) won two events against MSU Moorhead. She was victorious in the 1000 free with a time of 10:45.21. and took home the 500 free as she finished with a time of 5:16.96.
Emily Goodman (MSU) won the 400 IM with a time of 4:49.41 in its double dual with Gustavus Adolphus and UW-Stevens Point. She also won the 100 breaststroke with a time of 1:07.65. She was also a member of the 200 medley relay team that finished first with a time of 1:50.30.
Katelin Winter (MSUM) won of two events and was part of two winning relays in MSUM's 144-112 win over UMary. She won the 200 butterfly in 2:16.31, winning by more than eight seconds. She also won the 100 fly in 59.81 and was part of the winning 400 medley and 400 freestyle relays as well.
Maddie Gonzales (NSU) earned the lone event win for the Wolves in a dual against Augustana in the 200 yard backstroke, while recording a season best time of 2:11.33. She also recorded a second place finish in the 100 yard backstroke (1:01.80) and a fourth place finish in the 400 yard IM (4:59.09). Gonzales was the leadoff swimmer in the 200 yard medley relay, where the NSU relay team recorded a second place finish and season best time of 1:52.65.
Annika Freiburger (SMSU) helped SMSU defeat both Minnesota Morris and Concordia (Moorhead) at the UMM Triangular on Saturday winning all three events she competed in. She won the 1,000-yard freestyle with a time of 11:32.35, the 200-yard IM at 2:20.79 and the 200-yard breaststroke with a time of 2:37.12.
Other Top Diving Performances
Sydney Hanson (MSU) won the 3-meter diving event with a score of 246.6. She took second in the 1-meter diving event with a score of 238.95.
