NSIC Men's Track Athlete of the Week
Tanner Maier (Distance, So., Lodi, Wis. / Lodi HS) - Minnesota State
- Finished first in the 800m run with a time of 1:53.33 at the Ted Nelson Dual
- The time is a provisional mark as he won the race by over two seconds
- The converted time of 1:51.74 ranks ninth in Division II this season

NSIC Men's Field Athlete of the Week
Tyl Woelber (Multis, Jr., Pipestone, Minn. / Pipestone Area HS) - Augustana
- Debuted in the heptathlon at the Bison Open
- Won the event with 5,334 points
- Hit a provisional mark that ranks fifth in Division II 
- Ranks first in the NSIC this season

Other Top Track Performances
Alec Kray (AUGIE) ran the 3,000m at the Bison Open this past weekend, winning the event in a time of 8:12.89 which is a provisional time and places him 13th in the nation, as well as first in the conference.
Thomas Dietel (CSP) took first place in both the 60m and the 200m at the Bison Open over the weekend. The sophomore set a new personal best in the 60m with a time of 7.00. He also set a new personal record in the 200m with a time of 22.42.
Isaac Huntington (UMary) won the 400 meter dash at the Bison Open with a time of 50.48 seconds. It's the 4th best time in the NSIC this season. 
Nadir Yusuf (MSUM) set school record in 3K at Bison Open with a time of 8:21.18 which is NCAA provisional qualifying time. He placed second and time is second-fastest in NSIC this season.
Lewis Cotterill (MINOT) won the 600m (1:25.04) at the NDSU Bison Open against Division I competition and ran the fastest time in Division II this weekend. The time was also the fastest in Minot State men’s Track and Field program history.
David Ecker (USF) won the title in the 3,000 meters with a season-best performance and top six finish in the NSIC this indoor season at the Bearcat Invite. Ecker clocked a season-best 8:41.96 to win the competition.
Broderick Starnes (SMSU) had a big first-ever collegiate meet for SMSU at the SJU/CSB Tri Meet, earning a pair of first place finishes, winning the 60 meters with a time of 7.12 and capturing the 200 meters with a time of 23.45.

Other Top Field Performances
Basheer Alam (CSP) took second in the pole vault at the Bison Open over the weekend. The freshman set a new personal record in the pole vault with a mark of 3.35m.
Astley Davis (UMary) won the triple jump at the Bison Open with an effort of 13.77 meters. He was fourth in the long jump. He ranks third in the triple jump in the NSIC this season when he hit a mark of 14.19m at the Marauders Invite earlier this season. 
Carter Aguilera (MSU), in the weight throw, finished with a provisional throw of 61-7 (18.77m), which ranks as the 17th best throw in the nation.
Shyrone Kemp (MSUM) won the long jump at the Bison Open with a winning jump of 23-10.25 (7.27m), which is a NCAA provisional mark and tenth-best in nation. The jump is a personal best and the best in NSIC this season. 
Connor Wigand (SMSU), in the first meet of the season, secured a first place toss of  16.63m in the weight throw and finished second in the shot put at 16.35m at the SJU/CSB Tri Meet on Sunday.
Dylan Kneifl (WSC) won the high jump at Bison Open clearing 6-8.75, which was a NCAA provisional mark and ranks tied for 15th in NCAA Division II.
