NSIC Men’s Field Athlete of the Year
Tyl Woelber (Decathlon, Jr., Pipestone, Minn. / Pipestone Area HS) - Augustana
- NSIC Champion in the Decathlon and Javelin
- Set an NSIC record in the Decathlon with 7302 points
- Qualified for NCAA Championships in the Decathlon
- Named NSIC Field Athlete of the Year for the second time (2019)
NSIC Men’s Track Athlete of the Year
Nadir Yusuf (Distance, Sr., Willmar, Minn. / Willmar HS) - MSU Moorhead
- NSIC Champion in the 10K and 5K runs at NSIC Outdoor Championships
- Set NSIC records in both the 10K and 5K
- Automatically qualified for the NCAA Championships in 10K
NSIC Men’s Newcomer of the Year
Kornelius Klah (Hurdles/Sprints, Sr., Philadelphia, Pa. / Pennsbury HS) - Minnesota State
- Scored 22.5 points to tie for top point performer at NSIC Outdoor Championships
- NSIC Champion in the 110m hurdles and 400m hurdles
- Part of NSIC Champion 4x400m relay team
- Qualified for NCAA Championships in 110m hurdles and 400m hurdles
NSIC Men’s Assistant Coach of the Year
Chris Parno - Minnesota State
- Coached student-athletes that scored 124 points at NSIC Outdoor Championships
- Coached both high point performers (22.5 points) at NSIC Championships
- Had 13 different athletes score points in sprint events at NSIC Championships
- Coach four NSIC sprint champions and two relay teams
- Named NSIC Outdoor Track & Field Assistant Coach of the Year for the second time
NSIC Men’s Coach of the Year
Mike Turgeon - Minnesota State
- Led the Mavericks to ninth straight NSIC Outdoor Championship
- Coached five NSIC Champions and two relay teams
- Coached four student-athletes that qualified for NCAA DII Championships
- Named NSIC Outdoor Track & Field Coach of the Year for the third time
All-Conference performers consist of the top three finishers in each event and the members of the top two relay teams from the conference meet.
