NSIC Offensive Player of the Week
#15 Allyson Smith (F, 5-7, Sr., Brainerd, Minn. / Brainerd HS) - Bemidji State
- Had a hand in four of the Beavers five goal in two wins last week
- Scored both goals, including the game-winner in a 2-1 victory over Michigan Tech
- Assisted on two goals Sunday in BSU’s 3-2 victory over Northern Michigan
- With three assists through three matches, Smith leads the NSIC with 1.0 assists per match
- Her .667 goals per match average is tied for third in the league
- With seven points this season (.233 PPG), she trails only teammate Sara Wendt (3.00 PPG) in league scoring

- Helped CSP to a 7-0 shutout win over Rockhurst
- Held Rockhurst to seven shots, four of which were on goal

NSIC Goalkeeper of the Week
#1 Katherine Hageman (GK, 5-10, So., Golden, Colo. / Golden HS) - Wayne State
- Recorded 11 saves in a 0-0 double overtime draw versus #24 Missouri Western
- In her first start of season, she faced 16 shots from Griffons while playing 105:41 minutes
- She faced six corner kicks in the game as well

OFFENSE
#36 Alexis Legg (AUGIE) scored the game-winning goal in the 98th minute in the Vikings win over Nebraska-Kearney. She broke the scoreless tie to push AU to its first win of the season. She totaled three shots in the contest with two on frame.
#20 Katie Anderson (CSP) scored two goals in 63 minutes played on Sunday for a 7-0 win. She has three goals in three games, ranking second in the league. She leads the league in shots on goal (9) and ranks second in the NSIC in shots (17).
#3 Kayla Alcott (UMary) posted a goal and an assist in the Marauders 1st win of the season. She scored the second goal of the game in UMary’s 3-0 win over Black Hills State when she stole a pass from the Yellow Jackets goalkeeper and scored from distance. She added an assist off a corner kick to seal the win.
#10 Brynn Desens (MSU) scored one goal and registered one assist vs. #7 Central Missouri, Friday. Took seven shots and put six on goal in two matches. She played 187 of 190 minutes.
#7 Chloe Allen (MINOT) scored her 2nd goal of the season in overtime for a 2-1 Beavers win over Colorado Mesa.
#22 Haley Ramberg (UIU) scored a go-ahead goal to put Upper Iowa ahead 1-0 in the eighth minute versus Parkside. She led the Peacocks with four shots (two on goal) and helped UIU secure a 2-1 win in double OT to improve to 2-0. She set a career high for shots and tied a career high in shots on goal and goals.
#6 Riley Harmon (WSU) was the difference in the game for Winona State, as the Warriors claimed a 1-0 win over the previously unbeaten Northern Michigan. Harmon scored an unassisted game winner, beating her defender inside the penalty area to fire a shot that was partially saved; Harmon hustled to her own rebound and put home the loose ball for the win.
DEFENSE
#23 Toni Powsey (UIU) assisted Liv Wildeman on the game-winning golden goal in the second overtime period versus Parkside. She played a career-high 103 minutes and was part of a defense that held the opponent to 5 fewer shots and 2 fewer shots on goal, allowing zero shots in extra time. She helped UIU secure a 2-1 win to give the Peacocks a 2-0 record for the first time since 2012.
#27 Bailey Deininger (WSU) led a Winona State back four in their first shutout of the 2021 season, as WSU defeated Northern Michigan 1-0. Deininger was a key component in shutting down the Wildcat attack that had averaged four goals a game to start the season.
GOALKEEPER
#1 Jillian Barkus (AUGIE) secured her first collegiate shutout in the Vikings 1-0 win over Nebraska-Kearney in overtime. She stopped four shots on goal and all eight shots she faced.
Alyssa Stumbaugh (BSU) led BSU to a 2-0-0 weekend in non-conference play. She posted two saves in a 2-1 victory over Michigan Tech before posting a career-high seven saves in a 3-2 overtime victory over Northern Michigan. She finished the weekend with a 2-0-0 record, a .750 save percentage with nine saves and a 1.46 goals allowed average. Her .984 goals allowed average ranks fourth in the NSIC, while she is tied for fifth with a .800 save percentage.
#0 Mackenzie Rath (MSU) recorded her second career clean sheet in the Mavericks’ 1-0 victory over Northwest Missouri, Sunday, making five saves.
#1 Maddie Kindred (MINOT) made 6 saves, including 1 in overtime, helping Minot State score its first win of the season in overtime over Colorado Mesa. She had 10 saves in the Beavers 1-0 loss at No. 13 Westminster (Utah).
#1 Meghan Harkin (SMSU) recorded six saves in a 1-0 overtime loss to No. 24 Missouri Western. She is yet to give up a goal in regulation in two games between the pipes.
#1 Yanel Ortiz (WSU) had ten saves, including several sprawling stops, to earn a 1-0 shutout win over previously unbeaten Northern Michigan. Ortiz saved a pair of breakaway stops with the game still at 0-0 in a key turning point of the match. 9
