NSIC Offensive Player of the Week
#19 Nicole Friis (F, 5-7, R-Sr., Appleton, Wis. / Appleton North HS) - St. Cloud State

- Led the Huskies offensive attack en route to two victories this past weekend
- Helped defeat Winona State on the road for the first time in program history 
- Handed previously unbeaten Upper Iowa a 3-0 loss 
- Scored two goals on four shots in the win over Upper Iowa while playing the full 90 minutes
- Added an assist on the game-winning-goal in the Huskies 2-1 win over Winona State

NSIC Defensive Player of the Week
#26 Cassidy Pierce (D, 5-5, Sr., Missoula, Mont. / Big Sky HS) - UMary 

- Spearheaded a Marauders defense that didn’t allow a goal over the weekend
- Held USF and SMSU to a combined nine shots
- Held USF to three total shots (three on frame) and SMSU to six shots (four on frame)
- The Marauders are holding opponents to an NSIC-best 0.71 goals/game this season

NSIC Goalkeeper of the Week
#1 Madisyn Waltman (GK, 5-8, Jr., Sioux Falls, S.D. / Roosevelt HS) - UMary

- Posted two shutouts in 1-0 wins at Sioux Falls and SMSU 
- Faced seven total shots on frame for the weekend 
- Had three saves at USF and four at SMSU
- Now has 21 career shutouts, third all-time at UMary

OFFENSE
#25 Annika Bard (AUGIE)
scored two goals on three shots and recorded her first-career goal against MSU Moorhead. She followed up just minutes later with her second-career goal marking her first-career multi-goal game. She placed .667 percent of her shots on frame and helped Augustana to the 4-0 win over MSU Moorhead with her two goals.
#11 Erin Becker (BSU) finished the weekend of play with a BSU-best two goals. She helped extend the Beavers’ unbeaten streak to nine matches posting the game-tying goal in the 79th minute of a 2-2 double-overtime draw at Minnesota State Friday before netting a penalty kick goal to get BSU on the board early in a 2-1 victory at Concordia-St. Paul Sunday. She posted her first two goals of the season.
#2 Hannah Richter (UMary) had a major role in both UMary goals on the weekend in a pair of 1-0 road wins. She served a corner kick at USF that was turned into the winning goal. She also had five shots - four on net - against the Cougars.  She scored the lone goal in the Marauders win at SMSU, keeping the Marauders undefeated in the NSIC and in possession of three straight 1-0 wins.
#4 Jenny Vetter (MSU) scored the Mavericks’ first goal and assisted on the other in a match vs. BSU, Friday, which ended in a 2-2 tie. She scored one other goal vs. UMC on Sunday. She played 135 minutes over the weekend and put three shots on goal with six shot attempts. She totaled five points with two goals and one assist over the weekend.
#11 Sofia Lewis (MINOT), the Beavers all-time leading scorer, added two more goals to her total with one in each match over the weekend, including the game-winner at Sioux Falls as Minot State stretched its win streak to 5 in-a-row.
#7 Teya Trujillo (NSU) recorded two assists, both coming on game-tying goals against Wayne State and Augustana.
#26 Ellie Ripperda (USF) scored her first career goal in a 2-1 setback to Minot State on Sunday.
#13 Madison Kemp (WSC) scored two first half goals in 3-0 Sunday win over MSU Moorhead. She scored the first goal 36 seconds into the game and her second goal came at 22:38 mark.
#3 Ellie Wardell (WSU) had three assists in the first half of the Winona State 3-0 victory over UMD on Sunday. The three assists in one match are the most by a Warrior since 2013. She set up three different teammates in the win over UMD Logged 98 minutes of action in the two games. She had one shot each vs. SCSU and UMD.
 
DEFENSE
#32 Mackenzie Ternes (AUGIE)
made a pair of starts as the Vikings went 1-0-1 with a shutout victory and a 1-1 draw ... totaled three shots in AU’s shutout win over MSU Moorhead in 71 minutes of action ... recorded a shot in 102 minutes of action in the draw with Northern State ... she was part of a back line that held MSU Moorhead shotless on the day ... over the entire weekend, she was part of a defensive line that allowed just seven total shots and only two on frame.
#3 Caitlin Brown (MSU) recorded the Mavericks only point by a defender over the weekend with one assist vs. UMC, Sunday afternoon. Played for 131 minutes, the second-most of any MSU defender over the weekend. Took two shots over the weekend.
#28 Lilja Davidsdottir (NSU) had the game-winning goal against Wayne State on Friday, her first career goal. She also scored the game tying goal against Augustana on Sunday. She played all 90 minutes against Wayne State where the NSU defense allowed only 6 shots (4 shots-on-goal) and all 110 minutes against Augustana.
#14 Rheana Zerna (SCSU) led the Huskies defense to a pair of road victories over the weekend, as St. Cloud State defeated Winona State, 2-1, on Friday and Upper Iowa, 3-0, on Sunday. Zerna played the full 90 minutes in both contests, as the Huskies only gave up one goal on 22 shots. In those 22 shots, only nine were on goal over the weekend. Zerna and the Huskies back line was able to keep the goalie safe all weekend, as Evie Kohn only had to make eight saves in the two victories, including just one in the win over Upper Iowa.
#11 Katrina Kazluski (UIU) scored her team-leading second goal of the season against UMD, which proved to be her second game-winning goal of the year. She played full time on Friday and helped the UIU defense lock things down to start the season 5-0 (3-0 NSIC).
#13 Emily Chudik (WSU) patrolled the defensive midfield space for the Warriors in a pair of key NSIC matches, helping the team to a 1-1 weekend. She scored the opening goal in a 2-1 loss to SCSU on Friday. She also tallied a goal in the WSU win over UMD. She anchored the team which earned a shutout 3-0 win on Saturday vs. UMD. She started both matches and logged 122 total minutes.

GOALKEEPER
#1 Jillian Barkus (AUGIE)
gave up just a single goal over three halves and two overtime periods played (155 minutes). She posted a shutout in the lone half played in the 4-0 win over MSU Moorhead. She faced seven shots against Northern State, only having a set piece goal sneak by. She ended the weekend with an 0.58 GAA.
#33 Clare Longueville (MSU) started and played 63:54 last Sunday in MSU’s 5-0 win over UMC. Made one stop in the match for an eventual combined clean sheet in a joint effort with freshman Ava Blackney closing it out in the second half. Longueville earned the win to move to 3-1 in rookie season.
#1 Maddie Kindred (MINOT) made six saves in each game, earning both wins to stretch the Beavers unbeaten streak to five straight.
#00 Alexus Townsend (NSU) had 10 saves against Augustana on Sunday, which tied her season high for saves in a match.
#00 Alyson Jumper (WSU) had 21 total saves in two games for Winona State, conceding just two goals on the weekend. She notched first career shutout in 3-0 win over UMD, collecting 11 saves in the match. She had ten saves in 2-1 loss to St. Cloud State. She was a key component to help WSU move to 3-3 overall, 2-2 in NSIC.
