NSIC Offensive Player of the Week
#8 Megan Flom (MB, 6-2, Gr., Kenyon, Minn. / Kenyon-Wanamingo HS) - Winona State

- Helped WSU to a 4-0 record, defeating three nationally ranked teams at the Ferris State Invitational
- Collected 48 total kills and nine blocks to earn all-tournament team honors
- Registered a.382 hitting percentage (48K-6E-110TA)
- Hit an impressive .467 in the final match against Ferris State & .435 against #9 Oklahoma Baptist

NSIC Defensive Player of the Week
#10 Becca Pagel (L, 5-5, Gr., Sumner, Iowa / Sumner-Fredricksburg HS) - Winona State

- Was a key component in the Winona State 4-0 start at the Ferris State Invitational
- Produced 86 digs across the four matches, three of which were wins over nationally ranked teams
- Had a four-match serve receive average of .970 and averaged an NSIC best 6.14 digs per set
- Earned all-tournament team honors

NSIC Setter of the Week
#14 Maddy Torve (S, 5-11, FY-Sr., Loretto, Minn. /  Heritage Christian Academy) - St. Cloud State

- Led the #16 Huskies to a 4-0 weekend at the Keweenaw Classic at Michigan Tech
- Piloted the Huskies to a .311 team hitting percentage by averaging 12.6 assists/set 
- Amassed 164 total assists over the four matches
- Recorded the 3000th assist of her career in the Huskies 3-2 comeback win over Michigan Tech
- Becomes the fourth Husky in program history to reach the 3000 milestone
- Tied her career-high with 60 assists in St. Cloud State’s 3-2 win over (RV) Michigan Tech
- Added 38 and 42 in sweeps against UW-Parkside and (RV) Northern Michigan

Other Top Performances
OFFENSE
#9 Avery Thorson (AUGIE)
accounted for 32.5 points for the Vikings over four matches in the Tampa Volleyball Classic as Augustana went 2-2. Thorson averaged 1.91 points per set while also averaging 9.59 assists per set and a total of 163 over the four matches.
#6 Anna Averkamp (BSU) led the Beavers with 26 kills and a 2.17 k/s average in four matches at the Yellowjacket Invitational in Billings, Mont. She totaled a .073 hitting percentage and recorded one block, two aces and 12 digs.
#8 Jasmine Mulvihill (CSP) ranked fourth in the NSIC in points per set (4.62) and fifth kills per set (4.08). She added 2.00 digs per set, 0.77 blocks per set and two service aces. She reached double figures in kills in three of four matches, including a season-best 22 kills and .450 hitting percentage against NMU on Sept. 3. She hit .333 or better in three of four matches.
#6 Cianna Selbitschka (UMD) lead the NSIC in service aces per set (1.08) and points per set (5.58). Was also third in the conference in kills per set at 4.15 to lead UMD to a 3-1 weekend.
#13 Kennedy Drewis (UMary) had 16 kills and 16.5 points against Chadron State College. She had 11 kills and 12 points against Rollins College.
#4 Dana Schindler (MSU) accounted for 68.5 points in 19 sets, averaging 3.61 per set. She had 58 kills in 19 sets, averaging 3.05 kills per set. 
#9 Averey Yaksich (USF) was named to the Oredigger Classic All Tourney-Team after she totaled 69 kills on 161 attacks for a .267 hitting mark through four matches. She averaged a team-best 4.6 kills and had four services aces with a team-best 78 points. In the opening match of the tourney, she helped USF to a 3-2 win over Grand Valley State with a career-best and program DII mark of 30 kills. She now has 28 career matches with double-digit kills.
#18 Angela Young (SMSU) was Named Colorado School of Mines Classic tournament MVP after four wins in 13 total sets, including two against top 12 teams. She led SMSU with 4.31 kills per set (56 total kills) in wins against No. 10 Colorado Mesa, Grand Valley State, Colorado Christian, and No. 12 Colorado School of Mines. She hit .336, committing just 14 errors on her 125 attacks and added 22 digs and seven blocks. She tallied a season-high 20 kills against No. 10 Colorado Mesa.
#8 Kenzie Foley (SCSU) led the #16 Huskies to a 4-0 start at the Keweenaw classic by averaging a team-leading 3.57 kills/set and 3.57 digs/set. She tallied 50 kills and 50 digs at the tournament, leading St. Cloud State in both categories. She set career-highs in kills (15) and digs (25) in a 3-2 comeback win against (RV) Michigan Tech. She hit .647 with 12 kills and one error on 17 attempts in her collegiate debut against UW-Parkside.
#8 Madelyn Rettler (UIU) led the Peacock attack with 58 kills and a .241 hitting percentage. She averaged 4.14 kills/set to earn a place on the All-Tournament Team while the Peacocks posted a 3-1 record at the Miner Invitational. Rettler added 43 digs on defense.
#11 Kelsie Cada (WSC) averaged 3.67 kills and 1.89 digs per set at the Patriot Tournament in Dallas, Texas. She led WSC to a 3-0 record as she hit .520 with 13 kills and no errors in 3-0 sweep over Eastern New Mexico Saturday. She also had 11 kills and .455 attack percentage in 3-0 sweep over Arkansas Tech and was named to Patriot Tournament All-Tournament Team.

DEFENSE
#2 Erika Bute (AUGIE)
racked up 82 digs over 17 sets in four matches played in the Tampa Volleyball Classic. Bute had an average of 4.82 digs per set in the four matches as the Vikings went 2-2 in the tournament.
#18 Madison Weyker (BSU) led the Beavers and finished fourth in the NSIC with a 4.69 d/s average after totaling 61 digs over four matches. She posted a career-high 20 digs in a 3-1 loss versus Saint Martin’s and also recorded seven assists and one service ace.
#22 Kaia Sueker (UMary) was selected to the Steel City Showcase All Tournament Team -Had 57 combined digs in the Steel City Showcase tournament. She had three serve aces against CSU Pueblo.
#18 Kiya Durant (MSU) had 27 blocks in 19 sets averaging 1.42 blocks a set. She led the NSIC in first week of action in blocks as a freshman.
#3 Katelyn Nichols (SMSU) helped SMSU open the season begin the season 4-0 in the Colorado School of Mines Classic. She helped anchor the defense with 20 blocks in 13 sets in her first four career games, good for a 1.54 average per set. She is second in the NSIC in blocks per set after the first week of action.
#7 Charisma Herr (UIU) was named to the All-Tournament Team at the Miner Invitational. She gathered 71 digs in 14 sets while UIU posted a 3-1 record. Herr averaged 5.07 digs/set to lead the UIU defense.

SETTER
#9 Avery Thorson (AUGIE)
accounted for 163 of Augustana’s total 197 total assists over the weekend playing four matches in the Tampa Volleyball Classic going 2-2. Thorson averaged 9.59 assists per set.
#4 Emily Wade (BSU) led the Beavers by recording 81 assists over four matches and posted a 6.23 a/s average. Totaled a career-high 33 assists in a 3-1 loss over Saint Martin’s while also recording her first career double-double after adding 14 digs defensively. She finished second on the team with 30 digs and a 2.31 d/s average. She tied for the team lead with three aces and also had six kills.
#6 Ellie Veldman (CSP) was second in the NSIC in assists per set (12.50) with 150 total assists on the weekend. She led the team to a .303 hitting percentage for the weekend. She chipped in 2.00 digs per set along with 0.67 blocks per set and 0.25 aces per set. She finished with 52 assists and 10 digs to pick up a double-double against NMU on Sept. 3.
#7 Kameron Selvig (UMary) had 43 assists, 11 digs and 3 kills against Chadron State. She led the Marauders in assists in all four games of the Steel City Showcase tournament.
#6 Natalie Koke (UMC) collected 55 assists in two games on Saturday against Rollins College / CSU Pueblo. She had a career high 33 assists against Rollins College. She had two double-doubles on the weekend and collected four service aces against Rollins.
#7 Gordon Madison (UMD) was 3rd in the conference in average assists per set. Also contributed nine kills and two service aces. Lead UMD to a 3-1 record.
#23 Brooke Bolwerk (MSU), in 3 matches played at Keweenaw Volleyball Classic, averaged 27.66 assists in 13 sets with 29, 27, 27 assists in said matches. She led team in assists as a freshman and ranked 10th in conference over the weekend.
#5 Krista Goerger (USF), in helping deliver a 3-1 opening record, had 152 assists over four matches for 10.13 per set. She also recorded three service aces, had 14 kills and a .281 hitting percentage with 28 digs or 1.87 per set. She now has a school mark 2,549 career assists. She also had a .489 set assist mark with 20 points.
#6 Alisa Bengen (SMSU) paced the SMSU offense to a .301 average, good for second in the NSIC, with 139 assists - Averaged 10.69 assists per set - Tallied 24 digs, while adding four service aces -20 kills, good for a .488 hitting average. 
#10 Nicole Pozorski (UIU) paced the Peacock offense with 128 assists in her 14 sets of action for a 9.14 assist/set average. The setter added 32 digs and 16 kills.
#2 Bre Maloney (WSU) averaged 10.38 assists per set in the Warriors’ 4-0 weekend sweep at the Ferris State Invitational this past weekend, helping lead Winona State to an impressive start to the season. Maloney collected 135 total assists over the four wins, she also had seven kills and a pair of aces along the way.
