NSIC North Division Player of the Week
#24 Brooke Olson (F, 6-2, Sr., Rice Lake, Wis. / Rice Lake HS) - Minnesota Duluth
- Averaged 18.0 points and 8.5 rebounds per game as UMD extended its win streak to eight
- Shot 14-of-26 (53.8%) from the field for the weekend
- Added 2.0 assists, 1.5 steals, and 1.0 blocks and per game
- Named NSIC Player of the Week for the second time this season (11/22/21)
NSIC South Division Player of the Week
#10 Meghan DuBois (G. 5-7, Jr., Brooklyn Park, Minn. / Park Center HS) - Concordia-St. Paul
- Averaged 20.0 points, 7.0 assists and 5.0 rebounds in a weekend sweep
- Made four three-pointers (4-of-9)
- Scored 19 points with 8 assists in a 78-70 win over NSU
- Scored a season-high 21 points with 7 rebounds & 6 assists in a 70-59 win over MSUM
- Currently leads the NSIC with 5.7 assists per game
- Named NSIC Player of the Week for the second time this season (11/22/21)

#14 Trinity Yoder (BSU) reached 1,000 career points in a weekend split. She averaged 19.5 points per game, including a career-high 25 points in a win over WSC. She tied the BSU single-game record with 19 free throw attempts. She recorded 3.0 rebounds, 2.0 assists and 2.0 steals per game and shot 61.1 percent from the field (11-18).
#1 Mariah McKeever (MSUM) averaged 14.5 points and 5.5 rebounds for the weekend, She had 16 points and five rebounds in an 84-70 loss at Minnesota State on Friday. Added 13 points and six rebounds in loss at CSP. She shot 47 percent from three (7-of-15) for the week.
#11 Kate Head (MINOT) came within one point of her career high, scoring a team-best 22 points at Winona State as she averaged 12 points and 5.5 assists per game over the weekend for the Beavers.
#34 Kailee Oliverson (NSU) averaged 21.5 points, 9.5 rebounds, 1.5 assists, 2.5 blocks, and 1.0 steal against Concordia-St. Paul and Minnesota State. Over the course of the weekend, she shot 56.7 percent from the field and 75 percent from the free throw line. On Friday she recorded her third double-double of the season when she scored a career-high 29 points and grabbed 12 rebounds against the Golden Bears. On Saturday she scored 14 points and grabbed seven rebounds, while blocking a career-high four shots against the Mavericks.
#10 Brehna Evans (SCSU) led the Huskies to a 2-0 week in NSIC play by averaging 15.0 points, 6.0 rebounds, 5.0 assists and 2.5 steals per game. She shot .500 (10-20) from the floor, including a 4-6 (.571) clip from the beyond the arc. She also went 6-6 from the free throw line. She scored 14 points on 6-11 shooting in the Huskies 73-48 win over Sioux Falls. She added six rebounds, six assists, one block and three steals in the win. She added 16 points, six rebounds, four assists and two steals in the win over SMSU. She helped St. Cloud State hold its opponents to 46.0 points per game and .330 shooting.
Other Top Performances - South
#12 Vishe’ Rabb (AUGIE) scored 20 points to help Augustana come back from a 49-29 deficit in the third quarter to defeat Bemidji State 69-64. She scored 16 points in the second half while also accounting for six rebounds and four steals.
#14 Destinee Bursch (MSU) led the Mavericks in scoring with 36 points in two games this weekend. She set a new career high with 26 points against Northern State. She went 5-of-8 from three point range and shot 60.8% from the field in two games. She added 8 assists, 7 Steals, 3 rebounds.
#1 Katie Tornstrom (UIU) averaged 13.5 points and 6.0 rebounds, including 3.5 on the offensive glass, in just 16 minutes per game off the bench. She shot 8-for-17 (47.1%) from the floor, 4-of-8 (50%) from three, and 7-for-8 (87.5%) from the free throw line. Her 14 points and six rebounds in 14 minutes against Minot State were a season second-bests, helping UIU to an 80-71 win.
#5 Kylie Hammer (WSC) scored a team-high 23 points in a 60-51 loss at Bemidji State. She was 7-15 from the field and 7-12 at the free throw line. She now has 974 career points at WSC.
#0 Caitlin Riley (WSU) averaged 18 points per game, with a season-high 20 vs. Minot State on Saturday. She was 12-of-21 (57.1%) from the floor and 10-of-18 (55.6%) from behind the arc. She had three steals over the two games and averaged 4.5 rebounds per game. She led WSU to a second consecutive NSIC weekend sweep.

The NSIC is a 16-team, 18-sport, NCAA Division II conference with institutions located in Iowa, Minnesota, Nebraska, North Dakota, and South Dakota. The NSIC is a model Division II conference that uses high-level athletics competition to develop champions in the classroom and community while empowering student-athletes to be impactful and positive leaders.
