NSIC North Division Player of the Week
#30 Peyton Boom (C, 6-0, Jr., Barnesville, Minn. / Barnesville HS) - MSU Moorhead
- Averaged 21.0 points, 11.5 rebounds and 4.5 assists in a pair of wins
- Shot 51.0% (19-37) from the field in the wins
- Recorded her sixth double-double in a comeback win vs. UMary
- Scored 24 points win a career high 16 rebounds in the 76-73 overtime win over UMary
- Added 18 points and seven rebounds in a 71-64 win at Minot State
NSIC South Division Player of the Week
#11 Lindsey Becher (F, 6-1, Fr., Shoreview, Minn. / Mounds View HS) - Concordia-St. Paul
- Averaged 20.0 points and 10.0 rebounds to lead CSP to a pair of wins
- Had five steals and three blocked shots on the weekend as well
- Scored 25 points with 12 rebounds, five steals and two blocks in a win over UIU
- Registered her third 20/10 double-double of the year
- Leads the league with 3.2 blocks per game
- Her 3.2 season blocks average and 3.0 career blocks average are CSP records
- The 79 blocked shots on the year are second in program history
- Named NSIC Player of the Week for the second time this season (12/20/21)
Other Top Performances - North
#32 Rachael Heittola (BSU) averaged 15.5 points with a double-double in the final weekend of the regular season. She scored 18 points with 9 rebounds versus No. 16 St. Cloud State. She totaled 13 points with 10 rebounds versus UMD for sixth double-double of the season. She shot 8-of-8 from the free throw line and 11-of-27 from the field.
#4 Lexie Schneider (UMary) posted a double-double with 18 points and 13 rebounds against MSU Moorhead. She shot 8-of-13 from the field in a 76-73 defeat. She then scored 26 points on 11-of-15 shooting against Northern State in a 92-69 win. Schneider added on seven rebounds and four assists. She helped UMary clinch a spot in the NSIC playoffs with their victory over NSU.
#24 Brooke Olson (UMD) led the Bulldogs to a 2-0 weekend and a share of the NSIC regular season championship. Olson averaged 22.5 points per game over the weekend on 57.1 percent shooting. She also averaged 5.5 rebounds and 1.0 steals. She did this in just 27 minutes per game.
#12 Calli Delsman (MINOT) turned in a career-high 21 points on her “Senior Day” on Saturday against MSU Moorhead, and finished the week with 17.5 points per game for the Beavers. She shot 60 percent from the field on Minot State’s two games, going 15-of-25 from the field.
#41 Laurie Rogers (NSU) averaged 15.0 points, 7.5 rebounds, 2.0 assists and 1.5 blocks per game to lead the Wolves to a weekend split. She shot the ball 60 percent from the field and 75 percent from the free throw line.
#23 Tori Wortz (SCSU) helped the Huskies clinch their first NSIC regular season title since 1983-84 by averaging 15.0 points, 5.0 rebounds and 3.0 assists in wins over Minnesota Crookston and Bemidji State. She shot .419 from the floor (13-31) to score 31 points over the weekend. She scored a season-high 26 points in St. Cloud State’s win over Bemidji State. She shot 11-16 from the floor and 4-6 from three-point range. Additionally, she tallied four rebounds, four assists, a block and a steal in the win.
Other Top Performances - South
#32 Aislinn Duffy (AUGIE) averaged 17 points 8.5 rebounds and four assists in a weekend split against Sioux Falls and Southwest Minnesota State. Duffy achieved her 11th double-double of the season against SMSU having 15 points and 12 rebounds to help the Vikings earn a spot in the NSIC Tournament.
#1 Batt Joey (MSU) averaged 15.5 points in two wins against Upper Iowa and Winona. She had 10 assists, 6 rebounds and 2 steals and was 5 for 9 from beyond the arc for 55.5%, 12-20 from the field for 60% on the weekend.
Krystal Carlson (USF) averaged 17.5 points and 5.5 rebounds to help lead the Cougars to wins over Augustana, 69-62, and Wayne State, 79-67. She totaled 35 points with 11 rebounds, two assists and two steals. Carlson, who averaged 10.4 points and 4.9 rebounds, made 15-of-27 field goals for 55.5 percent. She helped USF clinch the South No. 3 seed for the NSIC Tourney. Carlson now has 10 double digit scoring games this season and 23 in her career and now has 627 career points.
#23 Jessica Musgrave (UIU) averaged 12.5 points, eight rebounds, 4.5 offensive boards, two assists, one block, and one steal per game. She tallied 17 points, eight rebounds, two assists, two blocks, and one steal against MSU, including a game-best five offensive boards. She finished the season as UIU’s leading rebounder and ranked sixth in the NSIC with 7.7 per game, while her 2.8 offensive rebounding average ranked fourth in the conference.
#11 Emily Kieck (WSU) passed the 1,000 point plateau in her Warrior career on Thursday as the standout point guard closes in on the end of her senior season. She led WSU in scoring in the game with 14 points. She had three assists and three rebounds vs. Minnesota State.

About the NSIC
The NSIC is a 16-team, 18-sport, NCAA Division II conference with institutions located in Iowa, Minnesota, Nebraska, North Dakota, and South Dakota. The NSIC is a model Division II conference that uses high-level athletics competition to develop champions in the classroom and community while empowering student-athletes to be impactful and positive leaders. Formed in 1992 by the merger of the Northern Intercollegiate Conference (men’s league) and the Northern Sun Conference (women’s league), the NSIC has flourished over the past quarter century, maturing into a 16-team union of Upper Midwest colleges and universities.
