She established a new career-high with 31 points including highs in FGM (14) and FGA (26) at SMSU, adding 6 blocked shots. #34 Krystal Carlson (USF) averaged 13.0 points, 6.5 rebounds and 4.5 steals against CSP and MSU. She total 18 points, eight rebounds and seven steals - best since 2016 for USF - in a setback to CSP. She also had eight points, five rebounds and two steals against MSU.
#35 Abuk Akoi (SMSU) averaged 7.5 points, 9.5 rebounds, and 9.5 blocks in a pair of victories against MSU and CSP. She nearly recorded a triple-double, posting 15 points, nine rebounds and eight blocks while knocking down three of her seven three pointers attempted in Saturday’s double OT victory over CSP. With SMSU’s lead trimmed to three in the second overtime against CSP, Akoi would knock down a big-time dagger from deep to double the lead with 1:49 to go. Her 11 blocks tied the most in a Division II game since March 6, 2019, and her eight blocks on Saturday also would’ve beaten the program record had it not been shattered the night before.
#21 Savannah Domeyer (UIU) averaged 13.5 points, 12 rebounds, three blocks, one assist, and one steal in 22.5 minutes off the bench, shooting 11-15 (75%) from the floor, 1-1 from deep, and 4-5 (80%) from the line. She notched 10 points, 11 rebounds, and four blocks against WSC before compiling 17 points, 13 rebounds, two blocks, and two steals against AUGIE. About the NSIC
The NSIC is a 16-team, 18-sport, NCAA Division II conference with institutions located in Iowa, Minnesota, Nebraska, North Dakota, and South Dakota. The NSIC is a model Division II conference that uses high-level athletics competition to develop champions in the classroom and community while empowering student-athletes to be impactful and positive leaders. Formed in 1992 by the merger of the Northern Intercollegiate Conference (men’s league) and the Northern Sun Conference (women’s league), the NSIC has flourished over the past quarter century, maturing into a 16-team union of Upper Midwest colleges and universities. The NSIC has won 24 team national championships and crowned 81 individual national champions. For additional information, visit NorthernSun.org.

About NCAA Division II
The NCAA, the national governing body for college athletics, is a volunteer association of more than 1,000 colleges and universities that classify their athletics programs in one of three membership divisions. The 300+ institutions in NCAA Division II support a balanced approach in which student-athletes can earn scholarships based on their athletic ability, pursue their desired academic degree, and participate in all the campus and surrounding community have to offer. Division II student-athletes annually graduate at rates higher than their student body peers, and they have access to the best championships-participant ratio among the NCAA’s three divisions. Division II gives student-athletes the unique opportunity to compete in the classroom, on the field, in their career, for their causes, and on their terms.
